Fuck that Captcha bullshit.
So... I was re-reading the whole manga and I stumbled across this;
The Eclipse Gate nullifies all magic close to it, which was the reason why Loke couldn't be near it (hence he is a spirit and he will dissappear). But shortly after that Lucy and Yukino SUMMON (so they use magic) the 12 Golden Key/Zodiac Spirits IN FRONT OF THE EXLIPSE GATE. Not just once but TWICE.
After that Wendy/Laxus fought Zirconis closely to the Gate as well.
Can anyone explain?

Are they orgasming
>>142151713
The gate doesn't nullify magic. It's more like a door to open space, all the air escapes through it. You can still breathe if you can replace the air faster than it escapes.

Probably Mashima changes idea about this arc while it was ongoing. For example Charle's premonition is really different with what happened in the end
Does /a/ still remember Crest/Banner of the Stars? Loved the series and wish there were more of it.
Adaptation/translation of the rest of the novels never. I wish there was more of this series.

Those character designs were ugly as sin
>>142152260
In Crest of the Stars, yeah. They improved in Banner a lot though.

JUST
Would you help her, /a/? Or would you let those little brutes tear her limb from limb?
Most people have no idea how difficult it is to rip a human apart.
There were plenty of dismemberment sentences in the past where the person was supposed to be ripped apart by 4 horses, and the horses failed. Sometimes the horses would be made to tear against the integrity of the victim for several hours before finally knives were employed to finish the deed.

So you're saying you wouldn't help her?

Gorgeous art and I liked the story until it went full retard.
>love interest is an idol character
>>142151035
>there's an idol character
>idols exist in general
>Love interest is a tsundere
>>142151035
Doesn't happen in any explicit way, even in an idol anime as that would give the impression that idols are anything other than pure.
Well, there's Perfect Blue, I guess.

>Samurai Champloo last episode
>servant is seen killed by the Guard Captain
>Mugen explodes
>Jin is stabbed through chest, looks like both heart and lungs were hit
>cue end scene, everyone is magically alive
>sun is suspiciously bright
>soothing music
Soooo they're all dead right and this is the afterlife right?
Also why is ShinichirÅ Watanabe so based? I just finished Samurai Champloo and holy fuck this was good. I swear Champloo and Bebop are the only chinese cartoons where I felt really invested in the characters.
Now watch LOGH. Major character investment.
>>142150011
Yeah, Watanabe is pretty good.
The biggest problem I have with Eva is that every character is a horrible, miserable person and they all treat each other terribly. And I think alot of people misunderstand that as being "deep" or arty when it's really anything but. There's nothing insightful about a writer shoveling loads of misery and despair into his work because the world sucks. I'm not calling Anno a hack-fraud, but I think that Shinichiro Watanabe has proven himself multiple times over to be an overall better storyteller. CB and SC are not deep or insightful, they're just simply GOOD stories, with nearly flawless execution; and that to me makes him a better writer and director.
>>142151308
Also I personally find Watanabe's OSTs infintely better then Evas desu. Specially Cowboy Bebop. Say whatever about the animation or plot, but that OST is just pure secks. Champloo is also very decent, although you can tell it's an early 2000's production, while Bebop is pretty timeless with it's perennial bluegrass.
>>142150842
But I am waching LOGH anon and I like it. But LOGH is more for politics than for storytelling.
