Guys I'm freaking the fuck out here. What if anime girls actually aren't pure? Bear with me here.
All we see of anime girls is their time on screen. We have no idea what they do or how they act in the scenes not shown. I think, more often than not, human beings are typically defined by personality traits that they keep hidden rather than show everyone else.
Sure, anime girls are not real, and logically, we do not treat them like they are real. However, emotionally, we have no choice but to treat them as real, as if we FELT that they were just objects along with knowing, then we would not be able to enjoy anime girls or jack off to them at all.
Anime girls are not whatever we think they are, but whatever we feel they are. If you feel that they are perfect, then they are perfect. However, we, I specifically, do not always have control over my emotions, and sometimes have no choice but to feel suspicious. I can think that they are pure all I want, but I just don't know.
My point being, since their personalities off screen are shaped by our uncontrollable emotions, and since I'm sure none of us are perfectly happy all of the time, it being only human to have negative emotions, I have no way of being sure that they do not sleep around.

I have come to the conclusion that anime girls are sluts, there is no way around it. If bad things can happen, they will happen, and especially if they can happen.

So I just watched Kabaneri, and the story probably didn't make sense at many points (why lower the drawbridge without inspection, why take a bullet for your immortal friend etc.),...
But I'm absolutely in love with the music, the cinematography and ESPECIALLY the shading. It's like watching 80s anime come to life again. It's the kind of look I fell in love with, not the plastic and flat bucket fill of modern anime like Sword Art Online. I wish there were more anime with the look of Kabaneri. It's so visually orgasmic I could watch Mumei all day long. So much talent is wasted on this series, I feel like.
Are we gonna see this kind of shading come back to anime? What other series have it?
