>Find out there is a poll based on the most popular anime of 2016
>Vote using Twitter
>Realize there is no Jojo for anime of the year and the poll is sort of shit favoring Yuri!! on Ice
>But.. Yuri!! On Ice is winning judging by Twitter's votes on a lot of categories due to the thirsty "progressive" ladies
>Can /A/ turn the tide and finally get anime that deserves the recognition noticed by Senpai's everywhere?
Let us get rid of the casual Yuri!! and make Animu worthy for the mainstream again!!
https://theanimeawards.com/ is where to vote at.
Make me proud anons or else i will make you bites the dust.
What good posts have there been besides constant spamming of the same old shows anon? I think this is actually a unique topic considering its actually about anime and users get to choose :).
Oh and anon you can stop samefagging. Having you post twice doesent make it anymore valid.
Has 2016 been the worst year for anime yet?
What did /a/ think about Shingeki no Bahamut? It felt like a much better fantasy/adventure series than all that self-insert isekai garbage that gets churned out every season.
Can't wait for older Favaro, even if he isn't a main character anymore. He looks dashing as fuck. I hope he reunites with his waifu Amira.
People kept saying that it turned to shit after the few couple episodes. Even if it wasn't completely consistent in quality I enjoyed it to the end though, I think this was just /a/ being melodramatic as usual.
Give me your top 5 anime of 2016
Am i the only one who thinks dog gaurd is gonna die?
Also nanbaka thread
I think it goes back and forth between funny and dark to lengthen the series
>On the front line of the war, there's a little girl. Blond hair, blue eyes and porcelain white skin, she commands the army with lisping voice. Her name is Tanya Degurechaff. But in reality, she is one of Japan's most elite salarymen, reborn as a little girl after angering a mysterious being X who calls himself "God." And this little girl, who prioritize over anything else efficiency and her own carrier, will become the most dangerous being amongst the sorcerers of the imperial army...
I'm fucking crying over the fact that it took me 5 years to realise, that this is basically what the majority of anime is
How do you justify this degenerate hobby /a/?
>Jojo became a monster of the week power rangers shit
>The main characters like Koichi and Hayato are annoying screeching faggots
>characters still asspull but it happens even more now because characters can pull random powers out their asses and people said the writing was supposed to get better
I honestly am dropping it after this season.
New chapter out.
And it's fucking awesome!
>Has Hollywood approached you yet about adapting it for an American audience?
>Shinkai: From what I understand and what I've been hearing, there are a few offers to do a live-action adaptation. That being said, as far as the US audience is concerned, I personally feel the movie is what it is, and I don't intend to redo it in any medium as of right now.
How would an American version of this movie even work? It's pretty heavily rooted in ancient tradition and mysticism, which is not a good fit for a nation less than 300 years old.
Guess what time it is?
Time for Shinohayu, Toki, and Saki biyori leaks.
