I stopped after episode 1. I know that is not enough time to judge this anime. However, it was soooooo bad. I have 3 reasons why this anime is awful. 1. a moaning girl who is wrapped up in chains, I expect that from a hentai. 2. the movement from the battling scene made me feel like I had motion sickness. 3. a middle school girl with boobs....SHE IS IN MIDDLE SCHOOL. So yeah....just....no.

we don't know, but due to instrumentality's nature you can assume she went through a similar process as in the tv show.

For the any of the reasons anyone who would make that choice would make it. We only see shinji's path so Asuka's just guess work. I'd be giving you my opinion not any solid reason.

So the kitchen scene wasn't how Asuka perceived his "rejection" in episode 12, but in reverse? That's one theory that I heard, but I guess that works too. Its just that Asuka lacks any injury from the battle.

You mean the kiss scene in episode 15? Or his not getting the hint about the 'jericho wall'?
I think that scene is an amalgam of several 'memories', from the kiss to when she learns about kaji's death to his seeking her out as emotional comfort. But I don't think it's any actual memory where he ended up choking her. A bit like Shinji peeking on Misato and Kaji having sex. It's a memory-like state but not an actual thing that happened. Or like the sandbox scene, I'm sure that's built on something that must have happened to Shinji but obviously there were no creepy doll girls playing with him. So they're like collective memories composed by the divergent recollections and emotional projections of each person that took part in the real events.

The real people must synchronize with the characters instead of vice versa. This is because they put a lot of work towards making the fictional universe feel real. I guess, I don't really know I'm just making shit up.

It's great, but I don't like the rapid tone changes from serious to silly. It can happen several times in a single minute.
