I will post a simple cut catgirl-doijin I translated but didn't release anywhere before this HDD dies and it is lost forever.

In short:
How is your Japanese? How close or literal a translation do you do (direct use of honorifics and idioms)?
Are you part of a translation group? Did you do more than just translation?
What were they?
Where did you upload them?
Do you keep track of them? If so, how?
Were they popular? Are they still popular? Do you care?
Have they disappeared offline?
Do you have any unreleased items still? If so why don't you release them?

In long:
My Japanese is crap but I've worked on several small translations over a few years. I don't like doing a direct translation preferring to adjust text to fit the bubbles and spaces on the page, finding equivalent English idioms or phrases, leaving out honorifics unless necessary to get social status etc. across.
I am not part of a group, much of what I did was providing text translations for others to typeset for existing scans and haven't worked on anything important or popular, mostly single pages that were left out of other groups translation projects, Pixiv items, short weird doujin etc. Almost all of them were uploaded to various websites and forum threads which no longer exist or have little traffic. I saw something I had worked on was added to MAL recently but there was no way to easily read it and thought maybe I should keep track of them, set up a website, join a group or Batoto or something...

Why don't the Japanese ever right good and realistic war dramas? Is it that I've just been brought up in a very militarized and gun loving society and I'm the strange one for wanting them? It seems that more Japanese have gotten into guns recently though as we've seen with things like High School of the Dead and Upotte. They are writing stories for people who enjoy accurate gun things. I still haven't seen a gritty war drama and the closest I've seen is Sora no Wato when it's doing flashbacks to the leaders past.

Is it to much to ask for cute military girls doing tragic and depressing war things?
