Some guys are good at both art and programming. How do you do it?
are you an idiot or do you just have a learning disability that prevents you from learning more than one thing?
>>562798
usually artists are not good programmers
call it science or magic or whatever
>>562798
Can you do both?
>>562798
artistic skill and creativity can't be learned you moron.
>>562802
yea because everyone can do it.
ALSO YOU CANT BE BAD AT PROGRAMMING ITS SIMILAR TO A LANGUAGE
The more you learn the better you can speak it.
And yes, I do both. Even do djing because fuck it.
>>562805
How much do you bench?
>>562806
Implying this is a bad ironic pun
No bench just workout with smaller weights
>>562802
>artistic skill and creativity can't be learned you moron.
Saying such a thing and then call the other guy moron.
Ironic.
>>562817
the worthless shit on this site proves me right every day you ignorant cunt
>>562800
yes
>>562796
Who's the fag?
>>562805
>everyone can do everything!
wow you are still stuck on that narrative
im sorry but your hand/eye coordination/creativity/strength is all in your genetics.
even if you could break the barriers of nature yourself by learning hard you will never be effective or good as natural talent
>>562796
That pic tho...
this weeb dude is farting on some demon stone
>>562796
>tfw when majoring in computer science with a heavy emphasis in 3d animation
The work load is suffocating me and that bright lightbulb outside hurts my eyes
>>562866
Is programming hard? Guy in the pic makes his own 3D software
>>562805
you sound like a next level retard
>>562842
Is today opposite day?
Regardless of what talent you think you have or don't have, it's hard work in your craft that makes you better. Art is hard and when people realize that they believe "talent" either makes or breaks you. You're not gonna become great after trying once and giving up. Look at the sketchbooks on conceptart.org
You can see these guys progress and most start off drawing like a kindergartener.
If you want to be more CR381ve, be more observant about the world around you. Keep a folder with images that inspire you, or even creep you out.
No one pops out their mom being a master in composition/game design. These are things you can learn
>>562911
not many people have the incentive to pursue art as the payoff is very low compared to other things so i believe you should invest about 2-3 years to becoming a professional and then move on
Most people can only use 10% of their brain. For some, that 10% is located in the left hemisphere which is good with logic and numbers so they end up doing technical work like programming and ringing. For others it's location the right hemisphere which deal with creativity. These people excel in artistic pursuits. A rare few have that 10% overlapping on both hemispheres and they are ones capable of doing both

Not hard per say but users are fucking retarded so you have to code around that. Mainly it's just debugging and error handling. Writing it is easy, it's making it so that your code can't get fucked or doesn't become fucked up that's hard.
Idk how it is at other unis but at mine they drill you until you fucking know it and make the classes intensive. Usually it starts as a class of 60 and dwindles to 30-40 half way through.
It's not for everyone. I try to make it fun tho by coding my own little things because I don't want to hate myself any more than I already do
>>562921
top kek
>>562820
if you're setting your bar for artistic skill and creativity based on 4chan of all things you might actually be retarded
>>563339
creativity and imagination are part of your brain function
i know its hard to digest because you were always told to be more creative by retarded people
>>562838
taron,
hes a good artist,
was on board with sculptris in 2010,
has a fluid simulator painting software, and a material maker for sculptris.
>>563379
Honestly he is a mediocre artist. Not bad, but not certainly not what I would call good. Good enough for some lower end game development perhaps but that's not my criteria for being a good artist. I fully believe that anyone with an average IQ or more can attain his artistic skill level if they practice.
>>562802
actually lold
>>563391
What does IQ have with being a good artist? Retards can make pretty pictures. Retards can't code though
???
