On Jesus birthday. Why haven't you bought 3d coat yet. Pls ignore dinosaur.

The software might be cool, but the developers don't deserve money.
>buying from Christcucks who get triggered if you make naughty models with their software.

Seriously, if you've got something against the software just because the guy who founded the company believes in fairytale you're an idiot. 3D coat is a fantastic program. It has a well designed user interface and is very easy to work with.
Who cares the guy who founded it believes in sky wizards.

So if I make my horse porn textures with 3D coat and they find out, will they take back my license?
>>545561
no but they'll tell Jesus and he'll come for your ass.

That's not a dinosaur that's a bunny can't you tell by the ears?
Last time I used 3D coat (in 2011 or something) it permanently stressed out my GPU even when idling and doing nothing.
Literally every other 3D software puts the GPU to sleep when there's no interaction but this shit kept refreshing at high FPS for literally no reason.
I hope they fixed that but on the other hand I'm not interested in it anymore anyways

The fix is to not use the GPU accelerated version but the one running on CPU. There are 2 executables.
It runs well on my old Lenovo x220 laptop even with 4k textures.

>3D model creation software
>having to use a non-gpu accelerated version to make it run almost as intended, only slower
yeah I see this is some masterfully programmed 3D software, totally worth the price
>>545682
Zbrush has been 32bit since it's creation. This software offers 64bit and seperate cpu and gpu acceleration modes and is cheaper. It also has a real 3d viewport and texture painting with fucking 'layers', imagine that. Stop grasping at straws retard.

It allows you to paint in 4k on an 5 year old laptop, one on which Substance Painter and Mari doesn't work. I wouldn't call that masterfully programmed, but it is rock solid and it works and it is not slow.
What more do you need?
Mari is also GPU accelerated and if you don't limit the framerate it will stress your GPU for no apparent reason.
Substance Painter is better programmed, when idling it does nothing with the GPU.
