Things to note before we begin with this romp:

3. As a fellow anon in the aforementioned porngame thread mentioned, furry stuff is frowned upon here. Two of the fellows that you encounter are in furry territory, so I'll likely be paraphrasing/glossing over anything that gets too steamy with these blokes.

4. I don't really know how much I'll be finishing tonight. From what I've heard, this game is actually pretty short, and I'll be up for awhile, so it might be possible that I finish it this evening, but we'll play it by ear. I only have a little experience of doing LP-style things, and none in 4chan/using frequent pictures instead of text only or video. Patience and formatting advice is always appreciated!

5. This will be a blind run of this game. As such, spoilers on plot/shenanigans that happen in the game are discouraged. Gameplay spoilers may be appreciated if I get stuck and feel I need a push to get things moving, but I'll ask if that's the case. I do like it when porn games make me feel smart after all, heheh.

Now that we that out of the way, it's time to dive into the game. The title screen hints at what will soon occur with our faithful player but this is a porn game posted in the /y/ board, so I'm sure this foreshadowing isn't doing more than providing early eyecandy.

The game opens up with our protagonist Orsino, waking up after a night of drinking. It must have been a crazy party, because he's completely nude and has no idea why he's outside of his house.

Like any good protagonist of an adventure game, Orsino knows that the easiest way to get clarity on a situation is to examine his surroundings. Sounds like a good way to get a tutorial in to me!

The control scheme in this game is very uncomplicated. It takes place in a 2d sidescrolling plane, so left and right handles all of your movements. the up button can be used to examine objects and characters, while the down button can be used to interact with them. By hitting enter, the player can enter specific text commands. It's important to note that many of the common commands (taking an item, talking to a person...) can be done by just hitting the down arrow.

One special feature in the game is that Orsino can ponder over his surroundings if he stands still for a couple of seconds. This can lead to important info sometimes. It's also mildly annoying to be frank. A button push could have served a similar purpose, even if I do appreciate the idea of him standing around for a bit mulling over his surroundings.

Before getting too deep in, let's start by examining this innocent beehive dangling off a tree.

Tee hee. Now that we know that playing with bees in the nude is bad for your health, we head off to the left to return to our lovely abode.

Except it's not looking so lovely. An earthquake slammed house would probably look like a Good Housekeeping model in comparison to our poor home.

Rummaging around the bathroom near the entrance uncovers a razor, but Orsino isn't in the mood to shave himself right now, so it stays in place.

Also worth noting is the black fire that prevents Orsino from moving too far into his home (even though the game claims that this fire has no heat or smoke, so this magic fire should theoretically be safe to cross, unless it is capable of magic death.

Over on the other side of the house by the kitchen, we have more black fire blocking the path. Our fridge has somehow flipped upside down in the...WHATEVER that happened to this place, but it's still working somehow. There's some beer inside, but Orsino truly doesn't seem to be in a grabby mood right now.

Also note the bottle of olive oil hanging out in the cabinet under the sink.

With our surroundings explored, Orsino decides to head off to the neighbors place, so he can maybe get some help. I note that he seems to live in a fairly rural location. This makes me pretty impressed by his apparently solid ability to get laid.

Unfortunately, the neighbors place seems to be even more altered than his own was. And when he enters through the gate, he sees a scene that's unusual in more ways than one.

A giant frog named Hup stands guard in front of the structure, seeming to be surprised by the presence of mortals here. As a new face, Hup orders our hero to present himself to the lord of the castle asap.

For the record, Barrod is quick to point out that this is not hell, but Limbo, the realm between realms. He's also quick to get to the point about how he wants to jump Orsino's bones.

Barrod's sole wish for Orsino is that he submits himself to Barrod and become one of his beloved minions. Barrod points out that leaving limbo can take decades to prepare, so Orsino seems to be pretty stuck right now.

Barrod decides to show some of his limitless compassion by allowing for Orsino to wander the grounds and meet the people that he'll likely be living with soon. He even kindly informs us that whenever we feel ready, he'll be more than happy to receive a request to SUBMIT to him. Using the text options to SUBMIT to Barrod will seal the deal, and end the game immediately. But do we REALLY want to do that right now?

Instead, let's wander around the grounds and get our bearings. To the right of the throne room is a hallway that leads to the library and eventually the dungeons. There's also a thrall who proves to be a jealous skinny bitch by calling out Orsino getting unintentional cozy with Lord Barrod...and for being a beefcake.

But maybe he's just the kind and friendly type. He explains that demons are physically incapable of even touching a mortal without making a pact with them. Doing so means that the mortal can turn the demon into their minion. Incidentally, even Lord Barrod is bound to this rule.

Boulder claims to have more useful info for us, but there's more to see in the castle. At the top of the tower beyond the library, Orsino ponders over all the important ways that his evening could have went better if he hadn't been teleported.

So I apparently fell asleep soon after the last update. I'm not sure about the interest levels for this sort of thing, but I may continue moving forward in the future. If nothing else it still gives me the opportunity to play more of this game.

And technically, the game IS short but only if you already know what to do. If you're playing blind and not using a walkthrough, it might take you a couple of sessions to beat it.

I'll be honest, I'm just kinda happy that I haven't been posting to empty air with this one. Yeah, I'm realizing that making posts and taking screenshots is slowing me down a bit. Yeah, the pace in boards like this is a lot slower, so my topic is likely still going to be around when I post again. I'll definitely not rush things, I want to enjoy myself with this after all. In the end I'm mainly sharing my experience of playing a game with other likeminded folks. Which is what's always drawn me to LPs/livestreams in the first place. If I get to look at glorious 2d eyecandy in the process, then that's a sweet bonus.

I like this style of LPs, reminds me good ol' Fire Emblem LPs.
Looking forward to the rest of this, I'm going through it myself too.

SO! Last time in See No Evil, our hero Orsino woke up from a wild night out to find that he was trapped in Limbo, a space between dimensions, with little chance of escape. He was now sharing his breathing space with a castle full of demons. Most notably was the Demon Lord Barrod, who has grown fond(?) of Orsino and as such wants the man to submit to him and come into the Lord's care.

Will Orsino ever find a way to break free from this horrible, torturous, hell-on-Limbo? Or will he be forced to give up his body, mind, and soul to the demons that reside here? Let's move closer to finding out!

The voice seems to belong to this miserable, hard working thrall. He pleads with Orsino that he find a way to escape, lest Orsino be forced into a life of servitude like himself. As a thrall, he's somewhere between living and dead, and he's got all the immortality of the demons, but with none of the sexy body or social status perks. Sounds like a shit deal to me.

In the chamber near the center of the balcony is a torture chamber of some sort. Orsino finds the general space to be very uncomfortable, what with the whole "Let's beat some info out of you vibe". Fortunately for him, there's nothing to really do here, though note the strange sheet of paper on the wall to the right of the door.

jelly slave, there's a stairway that leads further downstairs. It's here that we find a dungeon chamber, although at the moment there's only one occupant and he doesn't seem to be there as a prisoner.

Unlike everyone else we've encountered so far, this guy is not especially polite. The one who calls himself Ciz is actually quite crass and straightforward, not to mention very willing to lay down the threats of violence.

Poor Orsino just came from a torture chamber, and now he's likely about to talk to someone who would use such a facility. This isn't very hospitable at all y'know. You know what IS hospitable? A Kitchen! The doors near the stairs lead to one, so let's go there instead.

Our chef for the evening is yet another thrall in servitude of Lord Barrod. He explains that his reason for servitude is because he once made a pact with the Demon Lord, but he died before he could fulfill his end of the deal. This resulted in him being bound to service for the Demon Lord for the rest of their lives. And since both Barrod and the Thralls are more or less immortal, that means this man must be the best chef in the universe with all of the hours he's clocked in by now. We'll have to make sure to grab a taste later!

Too bad our meals here will be more mundane than one might expect. Turns out that harvesting ears from sinners and tit's from virgins is pretty tough.

So in that door we find another chamber, similar to the one at near the top floor balcony. This one is...cozier? It doesn't look like being here will lead to me getting caught up in BDSM shenanigans at least. Instead, this room is charred black and covered in soot. Hopefully the cook won't get TOO pissed about Orsino tracking dirt across the kitchen. There's also another diagram here.

I suppose knowing that we're in for 4 star food service makes up for the strange room we passed recently. Orsino seems to be feeling brave enough to go talk to that hooded man Ciz. But I feel like that bravery might have left him a bit, after passing by the interesting tools of the trade that Ciz likes to work alongside. Ciz's appearance manages to both do and not do him any favors.

Ciz confirms that all of these lovely devices do indeed belong to him, a fact that he's quite proud of. Orsino quickly notes that unlike Hup the gatemaster and Boulder the library master, Ciz (the Blademaster) looks very human despite being a demon. Ciz admits that he's not sure why he and Demon Lord Barrod look so human, but apparently a demons appearance is tied to humans somehow.

Ciz goes into his job as a person of "Fine Hospitality", but at the moment he seems to be very bored. There used to be more "guests" for him to entertain until very recently, and now he's just been around twiddling his thumbs. Just thinking about it seems to leave him pissed off because he tells Orsino to get out so he can sulk.

And yet, there's something about Ciz that Orsino can't seem to let go. Fortunately, Mr. Hood doesn't seem to stay mad for too long though. Even just looking at the metal door >>2127829
to his right gets Ciz back to talking about how this is where the guests used to stay until awhile ago.

A more direct chat has Ciz admitting that he can't stay too mad to a face like that. Orsino comes out and admits that he's mostly drawn to Ciz's well defined body, a notion that Ciz seems to find surprising. Flattery goes a long way, because the big guy doesn't seem to be pissed at Orsino anymore. Not much good that does him though unless he feels like getting a free look at the guys torso. I suppose that in itself is its own reward.

After a chat like this, curiosity seems to have gotten the better of Orsino. The Librarymaster Boulder mentioned having additional information for our hero. He clearly has no ulterior motives for Orsino developing a thirst for knowledge. Not at all. Let's see if we can cash in on that.

When we hit up Boulder, we learn of his true, shocking, out of nowhere intentions. Being the caretaker of the castle's knowledge hub, Boulder has learned of many things that he can't get his mind off of now. Boulder is willing to give Orsino more knowledge that could prove useful, but in exchange, he wishes to experience the "joining of human flesh" that mortals rave on and on about. Or as Orsino elegantly boils it down to, Boulder wishes to fuck him.

Once Orsino is reassured that fulfilling this request is very different from pledging his whole self to Lord Barrod, he's kind of excited by the idea of giving this proper, yet obviously blue-balled demon some excitement. Though he does have one very practical concern about the whole idea.

The reward for fulfilling this task is a pretty nice one though. Boulder will give Orsino a mystical tome that contains the key to all forms of communication ever known. This of course means that the indecipherable scripts found around the castle will become decipherable. The key to this amazing source of knowledge is in forming a pact.

Demonic pacts are basically an agreement between mortal and demon. There are no tricks to demonic pacts, as both parties must lay down exactly what they want before hand. Boulder points out that you can also SUGGEST to get ideas on what both parties may want before hand. A neat perk for Orsino is that the demon has to fulfill their end of the bargain first. The big catch is that if either end is not able to hold up there end of the deal (whether by choice or not) then they are forced to serve the other pactmaker, for as long as the master lives, or until the master shows mercy and lets them go. This would explain the fate of the poor chef under Lord Barrod.

Fortunately, the step of convincing the other party to form a pact in the first place isn't needed here, because it's Boulder that suggested the idea. The terms are also laid out clearly, because Boulder has already stated what he wants and is willing to give. When getting your rocks off is on the line, it looks like negotiations are a very smooth process for the sake of expediency. Keep that in mind children!

We pop into the text box and enter the key words: "OFFER FUCK GRIMOIRE". I think I could have made it more eloquent, but we have fuc, err, I mean KNOWLEDGE on the line. Yes, you know you would do anything for a Babelfish.

One effect of the pact is that the two pactmakers temporarily lend each other a piece of their lifeforce. In layman's terms, Orsino can use that connection to summon the other pactmaker to an appropriate place when he's ready to seal his end of the deal.

As for Boulder, he easily fulfills his end of the bargain. He loans the Grimoire Rosetta to Orsino, who after a moment of looking at it, is able to make connection after connection to his existing language skills. When he's finished, he now has the lifelong ability to read any language that has ever been known. Now if he ever escapes, a new world will be opened to him. He can travel the world like a native to any land! Follow a new career path! Gain obscure knowledge that has been thought to have been lost to the sands of time!!

...But there's more pressing things to do if he gets back home, and Orsino has his priories in order.

With that done, Orsino is free to read from the library. Boulder reminds him to not forget about his end of the deal, and to SUMMON him whenever he feels ready.

But first, we have knowledge to uncover. In one bookshelf, Orsino learns that while humans can't normally travel through limbo, their emotions can. Especially powerful moments of emotion can travel to heaven or hell and create angels (for positive emotions) and demons (for negative emotions). Also, it's the nature of the emotions that determine the looks of the creature, including whether or not they look human.

Another shelf explains that the negative nature of demons leaves them constantly feeling unfulfilled. It apparently takes positive and negative energy to result in being content, and so demons can only reach this state with the help of a mortal or angel. This is especially true for physical satisfaction, and it explains why Boulder wants Orsino to give it up so badly. He can't masturbate or even have sex with the other demons in a way that would lead provide anything more than a mild cardio exercise. I suppose being a buff immortal demon has it's downsides.

The real star of the show in here however is this book laid open for reading. It basically explains how Barrod was able to cross over from hell into limbo. One important detail is that the ritual requires a lot of positive energy, which the Demon Lord got by sacrificing most of his thralls. (Apparently the energy is worth more if you willingly give it up vs. being forced to).

It's apparently possible to send the castle back so things revert to how they once were, but in order to do that, a ritual must be performed. It looks like Orsino has a gameplan.

There's something else that this new power can be used for it seems. By checking back with the torture room beyond the library, we learn that it's actually called the Vortex of Howls. The diagram on the wall explains that power can be obtained in this room through the screams of a mortal being forced out by a demon. This will allow the FULMINUS incantation to be used for powering the room.

The question now is how can Orison, only mortal around, be made to scream. I do believe I have a suggestion...

Now that we know more about pacts and those weird rooms, we can head back to the dungeons and kitchens. Boulder said that pact ideas can be learned by getting potential pactmakers to SUGGEST something. If we try it with Ciz, he explains that he wants to learn a new blade trick. As the Blademaster whose spent eternity on his craft, this is easier said than done.

Back in the burnt room in the kitchen, which we now know is called the Immolatorium, we learn that this is indeed another point of power. To activate this point, a demon has to produce smoke from a mortal, which would then allow the PYRAX incantation to be stated.

While we're at it, we can try to see if Demon Lord Barrod is willing to form a pact with us. However, he's certainly shorted sighted, especially since we're not too special as far as mortals go it seems. As before, he only wishes for me to swear allegiance to him.

Near Barrod's throne is a chamber we haven't checked out yet. This "court" has all sorts pleasurable things, including leather cuffs (a favorite of Orsinos), plush cushions, a bong, and of course a mumbling Thrall.

In the door on the opposite end of the court, we find the 3rd power room. This one, which is very clean, while also having jugs filled with blood, is called the Thalamum Vitae. The requirement here is to have a demon "spill a mortals humours(bodily fluids)" in the room. The ever crafty Orsino figures that it doesn't just have to be blood, but maybe any bodily fluid would do. And of course, he's figured out a more pleasant alternative to bloodletting. SOLVUS is the mystical word for this room.

Back outside, we can speak to Hup and learn about the time he got the chance to experience eating bugs from the mortal realm. Since portions of the moral ream are here in Limbo now, Hup is hoping for the chance to try them again.

Well maybe some bugs have wandered off to the gardens on the other side of the front courtyard. As Orsino checks out the gardens, he meets yet another buff demon. This one calls himself Agmago, and is pretty traditional as far as demons go lookswise

Agmago calls Orsino to come closer so they can chat, but not too close. Agmago is a demon of destruction, and his fires that radiate from his body can reduce things to nothing. Orsino senses that Agmago's actually pretty nice. But it's hard to interact beyond a literal armslength thanks to that whole "I'll accidently incinerate you" bit.

Another creepy power room! This is the 4th and final one, called the Crux of Flesh. The trick to this room is for a Demon to spread pieces of human about the room. Orsino thinks of a clever way to possibly fulfill the requirement, but again, he'd need the help of a demon. And then he'll need the mystical word GERMINAS.

I forgot to screencap it, but earlier there was a thrall that mumbled about someone wanting to be Touched. Agmago seems to fit the bill (nice guy, no physical contact is possible without killing the person), so we SUGGEST TOUCH to him. His response is...somewhat sad, though expected. He does indeed crave the chance to have physical contact with another

So in the process of it all, we've become a very popular guy. But popularity doesn't last long if you can't follow through with your promises. Let's start working on this, shall we?

For starters, there's the beehive that was on that tree between Orsino's house and the castle. Bees=bugs=Hup, so a quick peek can't hurt. He grabs a rock and tries to coax some bees out of it, because popularity can't be kept without a few stings every now and then it seems.

There were no bees in the hive, but it does seem to have honey, which Hup might like (we all know Frogs love their honey...). Honey requires a container though, so that's a no go.

Back at the house though, the path to fulfillment shines brightly. The razor that was back in the bathroom is still there, and Orsino figures that it's a blade that Ciz has likely never used before. He also grabs the bottle of olive oil that was under the sink, since it's slippery, and possibly good for your skin (I'm sure the internet says lots of things are good for your skin, I'm gonna need a sauce on this one bro)

Before we go, Orsino finds one more item, a cigar, which could possibly count as the smoke from the body.

Agmago's the closest, so we'll try that especially foolish plan first. When we suggest touching Agmago with the 6-pack in tow, and show of our gigantic balls for risking Orsino's life on such a silly plan, Agmago decides to give it a try. However, Orsino still needs to decide on what he wants for his end of the deal. We found that cigar, so an agreement looks pretty doable. We suggest the cigar to Mags and though surprised by the simplicity of the task, he decides to follow through.

We OFFERed our TOUCH for a LIGHT and thus the pact was written. This pact turned out to be more painful to create, thanks to the lifeforce swapping thing. Orsino felt pain from the burning fire of Agmago's soul, and Agmago in turn felt a little of Orsino's pain. But even now, Agmago was unable to comfort his new friend. This just tugs at the heartstrings, so we really need to see how effective this dumbass idea will be.

In the immolatorium, the most idiotic plan I've ever seen in an adventure game comes into action. Orsino prepares the cigar and beer, which is still cold, and summons Agmago.

Agmago's part of the pact is very easy to do. It just takes the cutting of the end and a quick finger to the cigar and the thing is lit. Orsino puffs his smoke and fills the room with it.

By beer number 4, the flames have actually flickered out, and Orsino is able to touch Mags with discomfort, but not overly so. Of course, by beer 4, Mags is getting a little drunk, but these things are to be expected. If anything, Orsino is amused about Mags insisting on "drinking the last two cold while they're still beers".

I also believe that this is the end for tonight. I got a lot more in this session, we experienced a sex scene, and I think things are nicely set up for easily collecting the needed the other demons. Yeah, as much as I liked the one in the demo, this one was even hotter (/carlos). I think a lot of it is because of Mags combining the nice body with being really adorable, and it just felt fulfilling giving this guy what must be a very rare experience. The pictures and writing did a solid job of capturing the joy of giving a guy a blowjob too. Last time, Orsino became the new big man on campus when he met and took requests from the various demonic residents of the castle. Notably, he helped a force of destruction with a heart of gold experience the joys of physical contact, if only temporarily. There's still other fellows out there that need our help, and we still need to find a way out of Limbo. Will we succeed in our quest? Or will we succumb to Demon Lord Barrod's demands?

Since we left off last in the magic chamber in the kitchens, our next target, err, I mean demon in need of aid is just around the corner. Right now Ciz is standing around, appreciating all of the ogling that Orsino seems to give him and his chest.

But as nice as it is to ogle, we came here for a reason. Orsino SUGGESTS the RAZOR that we picked up from his bathroom earlier. Ciz wants to see a new bladetrick, and from his expression, it looks like Ciz doesn't even know what the device is used for. This could be our ticket to getting something nice out of him with a pact.

Fun bit of flavor. It turns out that the healing process of human bodies healing minor injuries is also foreign to demons. Ciz explains that demons require energy to heal from their wounds (which I suppose is technically true for humans too...) He also ensures us that despite his curiosity on what it's like to slice mortals, that he has no plans on doing so to us. It's nice to be loved I suppose. (Not pictured is all of the pet names that Ciz has given Orsino at this point. Our hero has been called "my favorite little nugget", "pup", "deary", and "punkin". Oh, it is nice to be popular.

Also not pictured is the two of them chatting about how much Ciz loves to cut things with blades (although the jury's still out on whether he actually enjoys the "inflicting pain" part of his job) and how most of his "guests" that require more attention aren't slaves, but demons.

Anyways, back to pact forming. From one of the rooms that we visited earlier, Orsino got the idea that a magical requirement could be fulfilled if he had some of his hair cut off by a demon. Since Ciz will be soon the proud owner of a razor anyways, it seems like that's a good way of getting something for both parties. SUGGESTing a SHAVE will help to kick things in the right direction. It also gets us called 'luscious', and we were also called 'precious' earlier as well. Say what you want about Ciz's blade fetish, but he does know how to make a man feel special when he wants to.

OFFER the RAZOR for a SHAVE and the pact will be set in stone. Orsino notes that he can sense that Ciz has written many pacts. This goes in contrast of my impressions of Agmago, who I feel its implied that he has written very few, if any, pacts. He mentions not being into the idea of owning any thralls after all, and failed pacts do result in a new minion. Anywho, the pact is written, so now it's just a matter of going to the right location so we can enjoy having a back that's smoother than a baby's bottom.

Along the way to Ciz's chamber, we can have Orsino stop to catch up with Agmago. Mags has apparently been thinking about his recent experience, and he decided that the least he could do is learn the name of the Mortal who gave him this opportunity. Our hero gives him his name (Orsino Jack to be precise), and Agmago pledges to keep that name and these memories close, long after Orsino's life has expired. Orsino wants to hug Agmago for being such a sweetie, but the whole "surrounded by the fire as hot as the deepest pits of hell" thing makes that a little tough. Fortunately, it seems as if the pacts that he shares with the demons is still active, so by thinking intently about comforting warm thoughts, he's able to give Mags a sort of psychic hug, which is the next best thing I suppose.

And now I see why Anon earlier liked to save this one for last. If I don't post anymore, it may possibly be because I just had a heart attack. Please don't mind me if that happens.

Not show above is Mags apparently deciding to get more proficient with his fire control. The experience has apparently inspired him to try to master his own flames, and he's so far managed to make some of his flames go out for a brief period of time with concentration. It would certainly be nice for Mags if he's able to get a hang of it.

Orsino figured that it was only fair to return the favor, but Ciz insists that getting shaved himself wasn't part of the deal. Orsino can be pretty perceptive though (or maybe it's all of these soul bonds he's been forming) because he quickly counters by reminding Ciz that getting his butt shaved wasn't part of the pact either but it happened anyway, and if he wanted to feel Orsino's butt up, he really should have just asked.

I'm going to have to give it to Agmago, but really, all three fellows we've seen so far have been very endearing in how they were presented. Anyways, with that aside, we're able to chant the FULMINUS spell in the chamber, which gives us our four points of power. It seems like finding a way out of here may be very possible now!

As we make our way through the castle, Barrod appears to have appreciation for our "busywork". All of this keeping the servants company and playing hard to get seems to be making Barrod even more anxious to have his turn.

So while heading outside, Orsino passes by Hup and he questioned his honey taste, seeing as he only tasted it on Orsino. Instead of tasting the honey from the jar (As the honey is all gone now) he instead decides to just taste Orsino. The verdict is that Orsino tastes almost as good as honey. Sounds like a nice compliment for Hup. Hup says that he welcomes Orsino and him being servants of Barrod together, which is a bit of a damper on things. Orsino still isn't feeling the whole servitude thing after all.

And so, Orsino decides to read more into the spell to return home. Now that the power points are sealed, the last step is to chant the final incantation in front of Hellfire. We happened to run across an incantation sounding thing from one of the Thralls: "Portas". Perhaps this spell will give us what we desire?

When the words are said, the blacky darkness of Limbo is replaced quickly by the morning sun and trees of Earth

It appears as if casting the spell in this way essentially expedited Demon Lord Barrod and his courts journey to our world. If you recall, their time spent in Limbo was basically kind of a stopping point between jumping from Hell to Earth. The "decades to jump again" became significantly shorter thanks to our "cleverness".

Orsino tries to plead with Lord Barrod that he spare Earth from his conquest, but well, the Overlord's gonna Overlord. Do you think Laharl would turn down this sort of opportunity in this situation? Barrod does allow for Orsino to remain in his court if he so chooses, however.

Orsino does not choose to. He gets the hell out of there instead. Agmago does try to call him back (;_;) but Barrod tells him to let the guy be.

Orsino loses his home and likely most of the things of his former pre-Limbo life. He never returns back to his old place, which is now a part of Lord Barrod's palace, and he never goes back to the demons he met, despite still sharing their bonds and feeling their emotions.

Well...that went worse than we hoped. No old life, demons take over the world, not the best way to resolve things. Perhaps Orsino SHOULD Submit to Lord Barrod after all...

Well he does so, and the Demon Lord finally gets to whet his appetite. And he deserves it! After all, Orsino had lit the points of power and expediated the teleport process, just as planned!

And after that, the spell is completed just as planned, and Demon Lord Barrod begins to spread his sphere of influence on the mortal realm. The Demon Lord and his servants begin collecting all sorts of humans to be their slaves, which Orsino helps out in with his seductive ways. Since Orsino did all the heavy lifting and still stuck around in the end, he even gets to take a piece of the Prince of Darkness's benefit's package, which includes thralls of his very own. And thus, Demon Lord Barrod and his court were satisfied.

I suppose that's a happier ending? Orsino gets a little more out of it, and the demons conquest gets expediated with Orsino's presence (and they get to enjoy a little piece of him on the side I'm sure). Still, perhaps things can be played out another way.

Well I know that many of the thralls were mumbling about making things backwards, and when I tried that on the PORTAS spell in the library, (SATROP), we got a different incantation. Perhaps we should pursue this train of thought.

This didn't seem to do much, although it DID lead to an incantation, so I'm sure there's more to that. Instead, we try a different plan. Instead of casting the PORTAS incantation at Barrod's castle, Orsino tries it at the OTHER hellfire location on the map, aka inside of his house>>2126968

When this is done, the hellfire flares up in a huge flame that separates the house from the castle. Barrod's servants can only cry out for us we are consumed by it's surprisingly cool flames.

By the time Barrod and the other servants arrive, there is nothing left of Orsino or his house. Agmago pleads with Barrod to try and save his new friend, but Barrod say that he has no bond with Orsino, and is not going to go rushing back into Limbo to save this man when their goal of reach Earth has been completed.

Meanwhile on Earth, Barrod's sphere of influence grows as usual. Barrod and his lesser demons gain many new thralls to join their harem...all except for Mags. Devastated by Orsino's loss, he became even more solitary, continued to no take in thralls, and found shreds of comfort in an entirely different way.

Well since Hup had some interesting thoughts to share after the rooms were all activated, let's see what the rest of the crew has to say.

For starters since he's the closes to the library, Orsino chats with Boulder again. Apparently, Barrod has been asking around about what Orsino was like. Boulder was more than happy to tell him about their romp, which only lit Barrod's fires even brighter, if it's possible. Boulder is surprised that Orsino is still shy about people talking about their sexual shenanigans, especially since he already wanders around nude and has shared so much of himself to everyone.

Similar to Hup, Boulder insists that being a servant of Barrod would be a good thing, and plus, they get to spend more time together. Orsino, of course, is still unsure.

Ciz is up next. He also assures Orsino of Barrod's generosity, only suggesting that the Demon Lord might give it to him extra rough for not getting first dibs. I suppose that's not the worst thing in the realm.

We also learn that between the two of them spawning from Negative Energy at the same time and them both having human appearances, Barrod and Ciz are more or less brothers. I suppose that explains why Ciz seems to have the important job of watching over the Thralls, as well as having a bunch of thralls of his own (or at least he did before the Limbo jump). Barrod always watched out for Ciz despite the hostility that demons often have for their potential rivals, and so Ciz will stay loyal to him till the end.

Which is nice, because if they DO make the jump, Orsino already has some ideas of what he and Ciz can do on their down time. Looking almost human has it's upsides for taking on Earth it seems.

The last of the subordinates is ol' Mags, who's trying to figure out his own nickname for Orsino. (Can this guy possibly get any cuter?)

Orsino says that if he could have things his way, he'd love to get out of Limbo with Agmago, and they live together, keep each other warm (well mostly Agmago keeping Orsino warm), drink beer and enjoy each others company.
Like the rest, Mags explains that getting out of this situation will be very difficult in the end, and like the others, he hopes that the fact that they get to stay together is a comfort. He also does say that if it WERE somehow possible to leave together with Orsino, he'd go for it. But of course, Agmago also has a pact with Barrod, so this is way easier said than done.

Orsino is touched by the gesture, and opts to be daring and opts to be daring and give Mags a quick tap on the lips with his licked finger. It burned of course, but it was totally worth it apperently.

On lighter notes, Mags finally figured out that flower thing >>2127903 (Agmago was confused about what they looked like earlier). He says they remind him of Orsino and all that they did earlier, and Orsino more or less runs away because it's unfair to get a boner without more cold beverages to do something about it with.

We had a few more idle chatter with the crew. Orsino tells Mags about his home that he inherited from his Grandpa that he wanted to fix up (Mags kinda regrets it, but he's met Orsino and has a bond with him so not really). Meanwhile Hup gets bashful about his cumquats because the anatomy is so different from Orsino.

Things get interesting though when a talk with the ever staring Barrod has the Demon Lord trying a different approach. What is it that Orsino likes out of a guy? Orsino certainly has nice tastes it seems.

Continue talking with Barrod and he continues further down this different approach. If you can forgive Ciz for his duties once you learn more about how he does things, why can't you give Barrod some slack. It's a question worth asking, I'd say. No Orsino does not find Barrod ugly, and yes, Orsino actually likes Barrod's hair and beard. Yes, if Orsino had a conventional chance, he'd be all over Barrod. The tension can be cut with a knife, people.

In fact, Barrod can be quite the romantic when he wants to be. He invites Orsino to sit by him and just chat so he can see him relax and hear his words. He states that even though demons don't require sleep, he would love to spend an evening cuddling and falling into a dream in his arms. And he even expresses a desire to share a dance with the big lug, despite Orsino pointing out that his enthusiasm for dancing easily dwarfs his ability because he's a klutz. Barrod is clearly as much of a master of honey as he is of vinegar.

With all of this seductive conversation catering to Orsino's needs, it seems like Barrod might be more willing to open up suggestions for a pact. Alas, this is not so. Apperently part of what makes Demon Lord Barrod a greater demon than most is that he has different powers, including the ability to make a pact with other demons (remember, demons can usually only pact with mortals). This of course is why Hup, Agamago, and Boulder all work for him (Ciz does it of his own free will due to being brothers). However, in order to have this power, Barrod had to sacrifice other powers, including the ability to do a Demon-Mortal pact. In other words, there's no "back scratching" between these two. Either Orsino pledges his everything to Barrod, or they have no connection of that sort at all.

So there was an interesting idea. I had tried reversing the final incantation, but what if we reverse them all instead? I got a positive result with FULMINUS becoming SUNIMLUF, so it looks like we have a lead again.

After doing all of this, Orsino returned home for a moment. Seeing all of the destruction that this Limbo trip caused to his beloved home made him feel sudden anger at this situation. His spirits afire, Orsino resolves to NOT SUBMIT and send Barrod and his crew back to hell.

And with his mind made up, he chants the reversed PORTAS spell in an effort to send the others back to where they came.

This sends the blackfire towards Barrods castle. Barrod tries to hold it back, and Orsino questions if LEAVEing the group really is the best way.

Eventually however, he can think of nothing and LEAVEs the group. Barrod swears that he'll get his crew back to Earth again, although with this development it will not be within Orsino's lifetime. They say their farewells to Orsino as they all get sent back to their home worlds.

Orsino is left back home with his wrecked house. With time, effort, and help from his old buds, he finally gets everything in the house back to better condition than it was before the incident.

But Orsino himself was changed forever by the incident. The bonds that he forged always remained a part of him, and he was never able to become as close to a mortal man the way he did with Barrod's demons. He lived the rest of his life a bachelor, and on occasions would try to send the crew reassuring feelings through the bonds they shared, hoping that they would forgive him.

This ending wasn't quite as depressing as the one with Orsino getting stuck in Limbo, but it was still kind of a downer. Poor guy's moment of selfishness(?) made him having a "be careful of what you wish for" situation. I'm hoping Mags doesn't get caught in a funk this time around, since he'll likely never see Orsino again.

Random tidbit learned in an idle conversation. Boulder, like all the others, also seems to know Orsino's name despite never having asked for it. All of the other demons seem to have familiarity with this name (Mags asked for his name, but said that it sounded familiar once he heard it). None know how common this is since none of them have coupled with a Mortal until this night. Very curious.

Anyways, this time, we have Orsino chant the SATROP spell in front of Barrod's castle to see how things change.

Not very well it seems. Barrod is very pissed with Orsino fucking with his plans and having the balls to stick around to go back to hell with them, but he can't lay a finger on Orsino so instead he tries to hold back the hellfire in vain. Hup and Boulder go to stand by their Lord.

Ciz feels sorry for Orsino's fate, but he too stands besides his brother. This leaves Orsino with Agmago.

Agmago sorrowfully explains that the castle is returning to hell and Mortals have no chance of surviving there. The others left him to his fate because death was inevitable.

With the heat rising and the noxious gases making breathing impossible, the only thing Agmago can do is give Orsino one last embrace. His hot flames likely caused more pain for Orsino, but with his end being certain, the little bit of comfort from that hug was likely for the best

And thus, Orsino's story ends, and all is as it once was for the demons.

Probably the worst ending of the lot. Orsino dies, and the demons don't even get to go to Earth for earthly pleasures. Mags will likely be feeling terrible about this outcome too. A terrible way to go.

There's still one more ending to discover. As a morbidly obese lady on some reality show once proclaimed, it's time to find our Yellow Brick Road.

I know that there's a clue in the fact that in the "return home and send them back to hell" ending, Orsino got one last chance to take an action. This path is likely the one that will take us to our final ending

Well, the demons are sent back to hell and Orsino doesn't have to live rest of his life with sorrow always remembering Mags. Nice and a little tragic ending.

But the demons have an eternity to return to Limbo and then Earth, so all it did was stall what's likely inevitable. Meanwhile there's no more Orsino. At least the "Return from whence you've came!" ending gives the demon crew the comfort of knowing that Orsino's still alive, although I suppose Orsino's not much better for it. I suppose it's a good ending from a story perspective because of its tragicness, but I think the ending where Orsino is sent to Limbo does tragic better.

Best ending imo so far is the "Just as planned, m'boy!" Ending where Orsino becomes Barrod's slave and they all go to Earth. At least then Orsino gets to stay with the other demons (possibly forever, I'm still unsure as to whether he becomes a Thrall here). Plus everyone gets a nice little harem and there's sex ever after. Probably not the best ending for the enslaved humans though. I'm sure Barrod and his crew are pretty pleased with these results at least

I recall reading the Readme and seeing that there's "One situation where you can Look at something not in your inventory" (the look command normally gives you flavor info about your stuff). I figured that maybe the last chance situation in the ending where you send them back to hell might give me something to work with. Nothing happened that was meaningful, but then another idea came to me. What if we were SUBMIT during this last moment?

I actually like this last ending. It was sorta cute in an apocalyptic way.

THAT produced results, albeit not what I was expecting at all. Orsino suggests that Barroth submit himself to him, not the other way arround. Barroth is hesitant, but Orsino figures that this is a plan that just could work. Can't be worse than the whole "quench my eternal fire with a 6 pack of beer" idea.

The other demons are shocked. Barrod reveals that he had played them all in an attempt to expedite their trip to Earth, but in the end Orsino learned how to reverse the spell and the plan backfired. Orsino makes his case, about how despite the bonds he's formed this evening, he still can't give up on all of the stuff he left behind on Earth. So if they're going to come to earth, it's going to be on HIS terms. The Demon Lord can't help but laugh and how the player got played

Now that the former Demon Lord is under Orsino's service, Orsino begins his plan. He summons Barroth to his side of the black flames, and without their master to support the flames, the other demons are sent back to hell with their castle.

Orsino begins to despair for losing them, but Barroth can still feel that they're not yet too far gone. If Orsino and Barroth work together, they should still be able to bring them back. Orsino takes Barroth's hand and puts his faith in him.

Barroth instructs his new Lord to focus on the bonds he made with the others so Barroth can call out to them and bring them across the rifts. He does so, but not before insisting that Barroth call him Orsino, not Lord.

The only one still not here is Barrod. When Orsino asks about him, the others explain that Barrod crossed through the tear in the rift and brought them to Earth, but then he got closed behind.

Well, they are born from the minds of people, so it's not too surprising. Also we just hit bump limit but have space for 50 more pics. If you need more, delete some of your images from before that weren't screenshots.
