>>17322171 They're dangerous in how easily they can spread and be believed on the internet without any sources. They encourage and condition people to not use critical thinking and spread hysteria like the shitty satanic panic of the 90s.
>>17322171 Are you sure that it isn't mining and free shit that isn't devaluing their existence? If all the africans are wearing our hand-,me-downs what will the clothiers do? If all the kids are used to receiving relief-aid, why bother farming?
This is why none of the poor people in america do anything. It's why they're fat. Gmo's are a chemical-intensive banking scam. A way for rich people to open mines AND get an impoverished child workforce all at once.
Shoes and t-shirts are the conspiracy. Cotton is the conspiracy, corn that can't defend itself from pests is the conspiracy.
>>17322171 No they're not. What you have to realize about companies like Monsanto is they have an agenda to sell their products and will lie in order to achieve this. This isn't a conspiracy, corporations do this all the time. Think butter VS margarine here.
Monsanto claims ''the only way to feed the third world is through GMO crops". Which is a blatant lie. Salt based fertilizer companies also follow a similar vine "the only way to produce a lot of food is with chemical fertilizer". When countries like Cuba has shown that despite embargoes on phosphorus fertilizer they were able to produce an amazing amount of food on a small area with organic based farming practices.
Monsanto has a terrible track record for ignoring environmental laws and polluting entire towns to save money. They contaminated an entire towns water supply with high levels of PBC's, we're responsible for weaponinized agent orange, DDT (it's safe don't worry!) and the whole debacle with rBGH.
As for their GMO crops, they do shady things like sell crops that their scientist deemed unfit for consumption because the modified organism contained extra genetics that they didn't intend or expect. Also they make the genes of the plants very agressive and force farmers into contracts in which they aren't allowed to collect seeds and replant their crops, they need to pay for new seeds to continue. And since the genes are so agressive, wind pollinated plants like corn become invasive wiping out local varieties and forcing farmers into contract with Monsanto because they no longer have a steady supply and the hybrid seeds have the genetic markers of Monsanto's varieties, which is illegal for the farmer to grow, there by indenturing farmers for years to come.
