I am actually in school for psycology, although I'm training to be more of a counselor for abused children, I actually have done plenty of research on psychosis and it's triggers, that and I had a really good friend who developed schizophrenia in high school slowly through the use of drugs. (drugs didn't make him schizo, but it made him prematurely so)

I've had few psychotic breaks myself, but I'm very grounded, and the worst was just severe suicidal ideations and very very mild thoughts of grandeur and mania, or irrational 'connections'. I was always able to separate from reality, but if this woman is acting like this out of the blue that is an indication of a possible underlying condition being triggered..

She is definitely having paranoid thoughts, and making irrational connections to things that are in no way related.

My good friend from school started showing similar ways.
