the thing with audio is that 99/100 times, it's very easy to tell it's been worked on in post.

For example, this video there is a very audible reverb tail before the "demon" even starts.
The reverb tail also extends far too long, suggesting an unreasonably large acoustic space. Anyone familiar with audio and post processing methods will tell you - it's very very easy to spot a fake-sounding acoustic space. (the majority of reverb plugins available sound unnatural, like a springy tin can effect)

Additionally, there's some stereo techniques present which is impossible to create without utilising something like Mid/Side processing.


Basically, kids... if you're going to slap something together in FL studios and say it's a spooky ghost

>forget about fancy panning methods
>avoid drenching it in reverb
