Alright /x/, so this happened 2 days ago.
>be saturday night around 10pm
>me and gf have people over for drinks, cards etc.
>I was on-call for work that weekend, so I couldn't drink (It's the medical field, so in the case of an emergency I would have to haul ass back to the pharmacy)
>Everybody else was drinking, and we were all having a good time
>Last thing I remember is we were all about to set up a game of Cards Against Humanity
>Next thing I remember I woke up in my bed with absolutely no memory of anything after that
>Gf is on the couch in the living room
>I go to her. She seems scared, about to cry
>"what happened last night, anon? where did you go? Are you okay now?" she asked me things like that
>Her guess was as good as mine, I had no fucking clue
Apparently, according to her and my friends, this is an account of what happened when I blacked out
>Playing cards against humanity (If you don't know, it's a phrase matching game like apples to apples but with more of a dark kind of humor)
>She started to notice the cards I would play weren't funny and didn't make any sense at all
>She said I started to have this gleam of lifelessness in my eyes
>Im usually an ecstatic person but...
>I wasn't laughing
>I was distant when people tried to talk to me
>and I kept glaring out of the window
>Being the only sober one there, she figured I was just being cautious about the cops getting called or something.
>I tell them someone needs me back at the pharmacy, and that i needed to go
>She was suspicious, as my phone didn't ring (My ringer is LOUD, the whole house would have heard it)
>I leave, then about 5 minutes later she notices my car is still there.
>She calls my cell phone
>She calls my work cell phone
>She calls my call phone again
>Straight to voicemail
>I return 2 hours later, everyone was freaking out
>I didn't say a damn thing
>Walked passed everyone
>Plugged my phone in the speaker
>Blasted in bloom by nirvana
>Picked up three empty beer bottles
>Went out to back porch (I live in a townhouse community)
>Started throwing them in all directions
>One in the woods, one in the street...
>Before the third is thrown, my friends pull my ass back in
>I was belligerent, like I was drunk and angry
>I weasel out of their grip
>pick up bottle of fireball
>Throw it against wall
>It bounces against it and hits the floor
>(yeah it was the plastic bottle)
>I start trying to stomp on it
>friends wrestle me down
>puts me in a headlock
>(friend is about 230lb i would guess)
>(I am 135lb)
>(I stood no chance)
>took like 5 minutes for me to start to cool down
>as i was slowly running out of breath, they heard me repeating a phrase under my breath, but they couldn't make it out
>I pass out, they bring me to my bed
Woke up that morning, no fucking clue what happened. I felt perfectly fine too, but I've had this weird as fuck mark on my right side rib ever since. It's really sensitive to touch, it really bothered me at work today wearing a tucked in polo. I'm seeing a doctor about is this Thursday, in the meantime, thought you guys might find this interesting. I've done little research on things like abductions and such, so let me know if you guys have any theories on what the fuck happened. I'll lurk if you guys have questions, and I'll come back to post what the doctor says on Thursday night.
I've never heard of abducations were they bait you out of the house like this just randomly. They'll usually pick off smaller groups altogeather or some shite like that.
Try seeing a that one professional who can put you under hypnoses it COULD help you get back whatever your missing.
On the other hand you work in the medical field, Run an X-ran or some shit over the spot with the marks if given a chance or metal detector/Along with a fuck there is some device that can tell if something's admitting radio waves.
Well I wouldn't say I "work in the medical field". I work in a pharmacy and just prep orders and deliver IV antibiotics.
I really don't think it was an abduction, I honestly think alien presence on earth is improbable (not impossible). Don't people who say they've gotten abducted only forget the abduction itself, not the hours around it?
Eh, Aliens or not. The government still does weird fucking shit to us. But hey, If you weren't worried about it, You'd not be doing any of this so might as well just listen to the advice given.
Be careful Outside, Don't want X-com after you do you? -Yes its a shitty joke ;-;-
I looked up wendigo, and my minds a bit blown. I live in Newport News in Virginia. That's right on native Algonquin land. We name a lot of our streets after native american peoples here. Algonquin is one of them, in hampton, namely. More info on wendigo please??
OP you seem pretty rational about this, that's good.
If you dont mind, how did you feel immediately after "waking up"? Your emotional state, can you elaborate? And I dont mean feelings brought on by your GF being upset or once youd learned the story, just immediately after you first came back to your senses.
Stray devil spirits that love nothing bettern that to corrupt or take over a persons mind, causing them to be agents of chaos or "evil" for a time.
Generally thought to be cannibalistic spirits (ie cause humans to east other humans).
It looks like merca op be careful. You could be contagious. Not only does it look like it but you give symptoms of it to the sensitivity and such. That doesnt account for your lost time...but it definitely looks like merca
It's the OP picture
Instant confusion. I just looked around and my first thought was "Did I drink last night?"... But my head felt clear, it didn't even feel like waking up from a night of drinking, so I quickly dismissed it. I then noticed my girlfriend wasn't in bed, so my focus turned to worrying if she was okay. That's when I ran out to the living room. As far as I know I didn't hurt anyone, and I usually go for long walks at night, so I'm not too worried about what I did. What's really worrying me is the mark, and if it relates to me forgetting things. It feels lumpy under the skin, like theres a black berry in there but it's not itchy like a rash.
Absolutely do not use hypnosis for memory recovery.
You will recover false memories and be so open to suggestion that even if you get the memories back they will be so buried in bullshit that they will be indistinguishable.
Try meditation. Focus your breathing and slowly trace along what you do remember. But never do hypnosis because it's not going to get you what you want. It's going to bury you in bullshit that didn't happen.
Ok, well, thats asymptomatic of what I was wondering but...
You may want to consider the possibility you fell into a fugue state (the doctor certainly will). This shit occurs, its a somewhat understood phenomenon. Most people believe fugue states last for a very long time, and while they can, they can also last for just a few hours.
This obviously however, does not explain your injury. It is not a tremendous leap to assume that during a dissociative fugue state, you gave yourself the injury in some way.
I think you're already on the right path, get to the doctors, tell them everything, the lost time, the amnesia, the injury, the sensation under the skin, all of it.
Keep an open mind to both the supernatural, and to what is unusual but explainable.
Good luck to you, and report back when you find out more.
For anyone who would like to replicate this mark, take a beer bottle and bend it slightly so that the parts at either end are forming a smaller circle. Press the bottle against your skin really really fucking hard and leave it there for a long time. And keep pressing it really hard. Yes, it's going to hurt. That's why people aren't stupid enough to do it.
My friend did this to himself one time when he was really wasted. He said he could make it look like he was bitten by an animal and did this. But, he only pressed it down for a minute or two. It drew some blood and he stopped. And, he did it on his arm where blood can come out more easily.
It looks like you were doing this for like the entire two hour period of time you were missing. And, to your stomach. I don't know why or how. But, the fact that it's on a softer, fleshier part of your body is why it's bruised and scabbed the way it has.
I'm not discounting the possibility of something beyond normal events occurring. I'm just saying, that's where the mark came from. What lead you or someone else to do that to you and what lead you to be so angry at beer bottles is still a complete mystery. Though, I think the anger towards beer bottles would be a direct result of the pain that caused you.
And what lured you outside? Why would you or something else just do that to yourself? There's definitely something odd going on. But, that mark is not the strange part.
that's what I was thinking, Ive also had injuries from shattered glass that looked similar, the fact that its nearly symmetrical could be coincidence, maybe op got some busted glass up under their skin during the bottle flinging.
Sorry. I meant the beer bottle CAP.
Funny how one little forgotten word can ruin the meaning of something.
On an unrelated note, has anyone else encountered this new form of captha where it's one picture broken up into a lot of smaller pictures and you have to click on the parts that are what they ask for? They make me snicker.
Or something lured you outside to do it to you.
Or this. Depending on how old you are and how much you drank, that's entirely possible.
But, my explanation is more fun. Go with mine. I mean, what lead you to having the idea in the first place?
Its starting to hurt, I've been picking at it a bit. I'm tired and still a bit uneasy, I'm going to try and get some sleep to function at work tomorrow. Thank you, /x/, talking with you guys was relieving, if that makes sense. I'll be posting on thursday
Idiots, no wonder no one taked you seriously. OP probably had a psychotic episode. Had one about a year and a half ago, although drugs were involved in mine, they can happen either way. Basically can't remember a thing I did that night, I started behaving erratically, talking nonsense, and I even made some phone calls and drove in my car.
You probably just blacked out and started acting like a fucking jackass without realizing it. Anyone on planet earth who black out has no flying fucking idea what they're doing, and you being an /x/tard probably contributed to you acting weird. You're a faggot, Matt.
I didn't read your story but I suddenly got a weird mark just like that on my arm. Is it painful to the touch? Pic related, my arm.
I have a friend that does this. Goes into a psychotic state. Not in the flip out sense but a total loss of her typical personality. She'll act like I'm a stranger and we're very close.
Might want to see a doctor OP. I agree with the other reply, this sounds like a textbook psychotic break.
Don't feel bad, it's nothing like TV or books make it
