Well, I hear the Mormons have a big ass temple. Religion is related to the supernatural.

Other then Mormons, there's not much else in Utah. It's flat, and any ancient culture has been wiped out by bland white people. I suggest moving to a more interesting state if you want /x/ related stuff.

Daycare on like 1300s 300e... Dugway military base working w et's... Skinwalker ranch.. haunted coal mines.. NSA data center..

As far as government spoops, Dugway is indeed very spooky. People who work and live on the base will tell you it is like any other base (and in general, it is). They have a bowling alley, theater, and a high school on mainside, just like any other base.

However, I have trained out there several times and been camping in the surrounding area and it is spooky, terrifying west country. Part of it may have been the semi irrational fear of being accidentally gassed or something, but Utah's west desert is an extremely unsettling place.

Then of course there is the Bigelow ranch of 'skinwalker' fame, which is in the Unitah Basinm which is itself an extremly creepy place. There are also many many small extrioist religious groups. I think it is full of occult spooky. It's not up front, and Utah seems banal, but is easily one of the most fascinating and ominous states in the Union.

Also more land owned by the federal government than any other state, make of that what you will.
