Okay for real this movie is a fucking piece of garbage. It commits a universe shattering plot hole every 10 minutes, it is fucked.
So the rock monsters on the moon that have no reason to be there because theres NO FUCKING FOOD ON THE MOON TIL 1969.

NASA was apparently aware of the rock monsters, but wasted billions in taxpayer money to train astronauts who were already dead, build fucking equipment, which is not cheap, and subsequently lose that equipment and astronauts (including all THEIR equipment, including several million dollar space suits).
And all this for...what? They weren't there to study the rock monsters, since they were unaware of them. Was the entire purpose to feed the rockmonsters? Were we just keeping pets?

Probably the worst "movie" I've seen in 2015. It's not an actual movie, it's more like a sequence of irritating moving images and sounds. It's predictable, annoying as fuck, the acting is piss poor and it wouldn't even succeed in creeping out a child even if an actual monster showed it to him. THANKYOU. this movie literally made me so mad.. those fucking rap scenes, god awful acting, shitty diaper.. you said it all, but that god damn ham-fisted "moral ending" what in the fuck was that.. and the forced character arcs were just so badly done it almost seems like a parody

it actually had like 2 scary scenes but everything else ruins it. that fucking "plot twist" is not a twist at all, and does not even effect the story (which is shite)

Different anon, I have enjoyed the weakest FF movies out there, shit like Evidence and Atrocious. I didn't enjoy The Visit at all. Half decent concept but totally unfitting format, it should have been shot as a regular mystery drama, the FF format made it look weird and out of place and it ended up being viewed by the wrong crowd because of it.

Trash Humpers was exactly what its name purports it to be...trash. its not art, its not a story, its just "art for the sake of calling something art". While the director did a very good job of completing his (rather inane) mission of developing something that felt "sinister", it was nothing more than that. you can see the same effect in film school midterm projects every year. the difference being that most of those will have some form of narrative, not just random scenes of disturbing behavior.

That was why I loved it, though. All of this supernatural build up, but in the end, who fucking KNEW what happened? Was it time travel? Was it the witch? Was it the serial killer? Serial killer as the witch's puppet? I've heard so many great theories, and each one changes the viewing a little. Sure, it's not the most dramatic film I've ever seen. But it IS adaptable - versatile, maybe I should say. And for what it is, it was pretty fucking solid.
