The proper term for them is "indians" but I could see how u would think that

According to the internet it is supposed to live in the antartic sea och other similar places, just google that shit and you get plenty of info.

I personally love the idea that these may exist but there is no clear evidence

To be fair, humans know jack shit about the seas, we know more about the space than we know about the bottom of the ocean. There are reports of scientists finding new species of deep sea creatures every one in a while, I wouldn't be too surprised of they stumble upon a cryptid one day

Soo ocean cryptids are way more plausible and interesting than land cryptids but even them I doubt these things exist. The sightings originated from the Japanese whaling fleet. Those guys litteraly have rocket propelled explosive tipped harpoons and just love hunting whales. Your telling me they wouldn't be jumping at the chance to murder and eat a new exotic whareu? Add to this that if the Japanese whalers saw these things them surely Sea Sheppard and Animal planet probably did too right? Why would the television producers keep that a secret when it could mean massive huge publicity. Sea Sheppard might be motivated too keep it a secret out of some altruistic sense in an attempt to protect them but quite frankly I don't sea the whalers or the media from being so inclined.
