Hey /x/
So, this is something really mysterious and creepy I've noticed but I rarely ever see dsicussed anywhere on the internet. You know the old "One click and you're in the weird part of YouTube" joke? Well now it's more like, one click and you're in the children part of YouTube. Might not really sound spooky (even though I would argue there are some spooky parts of it) but it's totally bizarre. They're usually really poorly animated clips with odd music with children's fictional characters from all sorts of mediums mashed together. A lot of them are Nursery Rhymes, and the thing is, there's thousands of these channels, some of them have millions of views, some of them barely any, and so many of them use the exact same songs and the same type of animation. This video is a good example of many of the points about these videos:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xZvlupo-H5A
It's god weird models, some of which are almost disturbing, the same songs over and over again and just to put the icing on the cake spiderman flying a nazi plane.
Confused? So am I.
This video by the same channel has 62 million views:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pJAiYpyYAjs
The comments are bizarre too. Most of them are just gibberish, obviously bots or something, some of them are similar channels trying to advertise. Like one of the top comments on the video here is named "Disney Cars for Kids" and it's a mix of weird videos about Marvel Heroes, Mickey Mouse, and Cars, but some of the videos don't even have Cars characters.
Just searching Finger Family on YouTube will lead you to thousands of these channels
https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=finger+family

Who's behind all this? Why does it all exist and why is there so much of it?

Look at this one. It's about that fucking vacuum cleaner with the face.

One of the few threads I've seen about this on 4chan, which I saw like a year ago, they were talking about one channel like this but it had some obviously intended to be disturbing. There was really weird things like real mouths being edited onto the characters and stuff, and I think there was some occult stuff in the videos too. The channel didn't have many views, but people who commented things would be replied to with evil-ish things by the channel. I guess it was meant to lure kids in and scare them or something. The guy in the videos had a really heavy german accent. I'm sorry I can't link it, but I'm pretty sure the channel was banned for breaking community guidelines or something.

Anyway, I'd go ahead and delve into this mysterious world yourself. See if you can find anything crazy and/or spooky and bring it back here.
>>
Well OP, I also looked into this in the past, and I found that all these cahnnels are just run by indians, which is why everything is so low quality, everyone has poor english skills and why there are milion of views.

Well...this is very disturbing

Also, in the 62 million views video, there are a lot of incomprehensible replies on the cars for kids comment.
Does someone have a clue on what those are?
>>
>>17260332
Some of them are clearly people from nonwestern countries who don't know what they're doing and some are clearly bots. Why? Who knows.

This is really strange. What are they trying to accomplish with these videos and the fake comments (they are obviously not made by real people, it's just glibberish)

But this video is a lot more normal. I would actually let my kids watch this, as opposed to the bizarre bootleg shit that was OP's video. It reminds me of those uncanny bootleg toys you'll sometimes see threads about.
>>
Maybe they are just trying to get their own views up by using bots, so they can make more youtube money with cheap content
>>
>>17260332
It looks like they were bots made to reply to the comment to make it one of the top comments.
>>
>>17260353
That doesn't explain the views and the comments.

Strangely it is always the same song. Some shit about fingers

children are attatched to licensed characters.
its not that wierd, they are bright and flashy.
heroes and guardians,
models and viewpoints.
if they just use them, they can get views from kids on their parents ipads.

Maybe it's some sort of college thing? like for child development majors or something? The millions of views come from the searches for these things. The comments...if we can get some translations, that'd be helpful.

>>17260218
Seeing all this I come up to a conclusion which is simple:
It's to violate the young minds of kinds who own tablets and parents do not care to have control of, if you are or you know someone like that explain them the situation and everything a kid could look for in their tablet is either cartoons like these (and they get led here by the tags) or by games they want to play.

Solution: Find a streaming website with cartoons for them and 1 with flash games for them. Block everything else. Allow them to play it of maximum 2 hours per day. Youtube is a garbage dump for the last 3 - 4 years.

I have a channel with 21k subs and I have zero idea how the fuck it is these people managed to get away with fucking the YouTube system this much. If you're partnered and get caught botting you actually get sued. There's no way in Hell that 100,000 people are actually watching this shit. Likewise I really don't want to sit around for one of these to upload something to see how fast the views inflate.

Last year someone else found a really bizarre channel based around this shit called "hey kids". Seemed like a crazy ass Indian troll but who knows.
>>
️️️️️⭐️
>>
This is actually pretty easy to deconstruct. The videos exist to make people money and here's why. Most videos in this admittedly weird style you will watch have advertisements enabled which shows the channel has commercial interests. The random amalgamation of characters is intentional so somebody searching for anything will come across them. Lets ay your kids liked spiderman and you wanted to get them off your back. All you would have to do is pull up a search on "spiderman kids nursery" or something to that effect and you can find one of these videos. By including a multitude of characters the same can be said about peppa pig, superheroes, etc. The massive amounts of views is probably a combination of repition among younger viewers and people floating the odd videos around social networks. How many of you havent come across that video about "johnny" eating sugar? Theyre just gimmicks designed to make money through youtube advertising.
>>
>>17262430
Wow how do you do that
>>
Has anyone downloaded the audio and checked for some sort of backmasking in the vocals? I'm on my phone and can't do it rn but there's gotta be some subliminal shit in there

These vids make me really uneasy
>>
>>17262201
That one is actually a troll. Most of his videos have some hidden dark humour.
>>
>>17262430

>>

>>
This actually isn't as weird as it seems, I have a 3 year old nephew, and when I have babysit him I ocassionaly just search for random videos on youtube, stuff like this, and for some reason, he likes them. Those videos probably have so many views because of lazy parents who just sit their kids in front of the computer, and they are poorly animated simply because it would be senseless to make more effort into animating these, it's made for children, and they don't care if it looks like shit.

Really simple explanation for the bizzare content and amount of views.

Basically the channel is fake and no real people have interest in it. It was made by some Asians or maybe eastern Europeans, but my money is on Asians.

The views are obviously from a botnet, and also the comments.

I dont know if YT knows these guys are fake, but I would assume not since these channels and videos wouldn't exist without the financial incentive to make them.

This is really weird. A lot of these channels have to do with "Surprise Eggs", whatever those are. If you look in some of the comments, e.g. the comments for this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ULzUvpIsWrI
all of them are by the same kind of channels.

This leads me to believe that these are bots which support, watch, like, and comment on each other's videos. I believe these may be owned by a company, as there are many videos/channels related to "Surprise Eggs" whatever those are.
>>
>>17264719
To add on, clicking on any one of these channels gives you similar results. I went to the "Wild Adventure GIrls" channel and all the comments were in support, saying something like "Liked and Subscribed!"

To add on to the bot point, the channel even responded to posts in another language, despite it still using english. This is very likely just companies with established networks of bots trying to get adsense money or views/advertisement.
>>
These guys are heavily Indian as well. Look at this
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7S3VYjxaYZs
He speaks in Spanish at some point as well, or at least it seems to be that to me. This is a fluent human voice, not a robot of any sort. Some guy sat down and recorded this, including his eyes and mouth, and edited it into this.
>>
This all connects back to the surprise eggs for some reason. Go into the comments/discussion of any video/channel related to this and you will find the surprise eggs. This is crazy. Look at this channel I found, it's a bit out of the norm.
