i don't come to /x/ ever
I have never asked anyone in my life what this is so i think its only appropriate to ask here
What is that vacuum sound effect you get upon waking up?
I don't get it all the time but sometimes i get that noise like *SSSWOOOP* like a sucking noise i get
Or
Sometimes i get a echoing voice combined with the vacuum, like right in my ear, when i get these wake up's im usually 100% alert after i wake up its almost instant
>They depict this in Film/tv in dreams some horror movies do it, but its not 100% like that
I guess i can't really explain it unless you guys know what it is called or something
Might be recurring dreams waking you up, but you don't remember what the dream was actually about. Do you have tinnitus?
It can be caused by clenching the muscles in your face, causing vibrations that you can hear.
You can also do it by using your throat muscles to put pressure up through your nasal passages, making your ear drums more sucepptible to vibrations.

There's another thing that sometimes happens to me, and it's less like a rumbling, and more like a loud whining mixed with some whitenoise, that fades in and out very quickly, almost like a racecar, minus the doppler effect pitch variation. Although, this usually happens to me when I'm going to sleep, and it goes from one side of my head to the other. then back again.
I've always just assumed it to be a hallucination do to tiredness, although it could be blood, or any number of things, really.
Hey guys, next time you have something to say about dreams, please take it to the general
