Looking for creepy movies. Not pussy stuff, were tough men.
lucio fulci's zombies
ken russel's the devils
men behind the sun
This. Unnerving as fuck.
This, the last 30 minutes is an adrenaline pumper, and unnerving as well
This was alright, for me it was more arousing and disgusting.
Probably your best bet for "creepy" is going to be Where The Dead Go To Die, or any of ScreamerClauz's more lengthy and coherent videos.
If you just want to surf the youtube for some interesting/creepy stuff check out AlanTutorial

This movie (The Descent) and Lake Mungo, two movies that are always requested in these threads, are some of the worst meandering pieces of shit I've ever had the misfortune of watching. I actually grew to hate you guys after Lake Mungo, that was the final straw. It would be mentioned and then a dozen anon quoting the post saying "omg that cell phone footage part was next level scary". Are you fucking kidding me? Awful.
Texas Chainsaw Massacre
Blair Witch Project
Seriously if you want quality listen to me not these faggots.
Everyone always says that. Can't cure bad taste. If you look at the list, none of the films listed are supernatural at all, except maybe Blair Witch if you adhere to the theory that it is a witch. It could be a prank, hicks, etc. I guess I'm more inclined towards disturbing movies that could actually happen.
Who cares anymore
I thought it was one of the family members from We Are Still Here, which also blew.
These threads are always annoying because OP doesn't post anything about the type of horror that gets to them.
Like, do you enjoy gore? Supernatural? Standard ghost stuff? Psychological? It would help me recommend movies if I knew what scares OP.
I mean to specify horror, /tv/ has given me one good horror movie to watch and a few good thrillers. But the board isn't made as my personal movie suggestion box so I won't complain, thanks for the helpful comment tho.
John Carpenter's "At the mouth of madness" an adaptation of "in the mountain of madness" starring Sam Neill. Watched it two weeks ago, great movie. A classic, 80' flick with good casting, a seemingly simple plot hook, but executed in a really shapely, elegantly disturbing manner, also capturing the specific feel of most of Lovecraft's most popular stories. 8/10 highly recommended
No, it was a pretty...odd movie. However, as someone without kids, and assuming that most of us neckbeards probably don't have kids, it's not creepy enough.
If you have kids though, probably the scariest shit you've ever seen.
Quite the same response to this as to Megan is Missing, both child abuse movies.
Poughkeepsie Tapes sounds promising.
My suggestions are:
Donnie Darko (idgaf that shit was awesome)
and honestly, Hostel was pretty scary, mostly because I'm pretty sure that shit really happens.
Shoah, a ten hour documentary on the holocaust. Not really horror, but I guarantee you won't feel too good after you finish it. If you sign up for the Sundance Doc club you can watch the English subtitled version for free.
I just finished watching the Poughkeepsie Tapes, and I have to say it was pretty good. Imo he should have invested in a better camera haha. Anyway, what makes it creepier is that it's fiction, but there's a shoutout to the victims and their families at the end, and was also dedicated to Cheryl..... Also, when it was released in 2007, it was pulled from theaters with no explanation and didn't have a DVD release. And anyone who's watched it has given it negative reviews...
On that note, any good serial killer movie recommendations? So far this thread has been a bust.
THIS MOVIE FUCKING SUCKS, IT'S NOT EVEN SCARY
YOU PEOPLE ARE FUCKING CHILDREN, STOP FUCKING RECOMMENDING THIS EVERY GODDAMN THREAD
Thank you for all the recommendations we considered many of them, but it was too late. We watched Grave Encounters and it was K, but all of these recommendations wont go out for nothing, we have a source now for the future. Thank you.
Yea... It's a phrase to mean you find yourself in a position similar to one you previously made fun of/disapproved/etc. He was calling some guy a moron for posting penis benis and then made a mathematical error by calling trips quads. So its like saying "who's the dumbass now".
Why we talking about this instead of scary movies anyway?
grave encounters is one of my favs
i used to watch thos ghost hunting shows all the time in high school, which i think added to how good it was
also it builds at the perfect rate, doesn't throw in ridiculous spoops right off the bat
Plot needs some time to get moving but it's one of my favorites.
