I've seen one, it was years ago.
I told a few people (not counting the people who saw it with me) but I didn't make a big deal of it.
I don't know you, obviously, but your friends may want to hear your experience. If I had any advice, I'd say to stress that you don't know *what* it was, and don't leap to ayy lmao or anything immediately.

As for me, like I said, I saw a triangle shaped "something" years ago, along with several old friends. If I had to guess I'd assume it was a secret military type thing, but either way it was definitely a "ufo".

I just have to say a few things:
1. You are not an expert on aerial phenomenon or aeronautical engineering, so it comes as no surprise that you saw something in the sky that you could not explain.
2.As you said, you have no reason to attempt to prove it. This is validated by your lack of evidence, despite posting an EDC image with a clearly visible smart phone with camera.
3. The presence of a UFO is no indication that you saw something of extra-terrestrial origin.

Yes, you should just forget about it unless you want to make yourself look like a fool in the eyes of anyone with a semblance of credibility.

Personally, I have seen a UFO as well with a coworker while returning to our vehicles in the parking lot after work. I ran back into my office, turned off the alarm, ran up the stairs, unlocked my office, grabbed a camcorder and TWO batteries and ran back to the lot. With digital and optical zoom I was able to get a clean shot of the object. Hell, I got video too which now resides in my personal collection.

I was able to analyze the evidence that I collected and came to an interesting conclusion which I will not be sharing right now.

It was rising for about 3+ hours till sunrise then shot up into space.

Very interesting though.
