In the simplest explanation, what is hell? If one does die,are we able to traverse dimensions beyond our own comprehension? Do dimensions of pure horror and chaos exist? Are black holes gateways to these dimensions?

>what is hell?
Ultimately up to interpretation but also the consensus is that its not somewhere you want to be
>if we die can we travel there
Possibly but it's probably horrid
>do dimensions of pure horror and chaos exist
likely, good thing we don't reside there
>are black holes gateways there
probably not
Separation from God, The Absolute.
Hell is the lowest place on the evolutionary tree.

>what is hell?
Something old leaders of religions came up with to scare people into doing their bidding
>if one does die,are we able to traverse dimensions beyond our own comprehensions
Probably not. Although there probably isn't a way to prove this, it's safe to say "no" until somebody making this claim provides acceptable evidence
>do dimensions of pure horror and chaos exist?
Probably not - see the answer to the previous question. This is also not a very good question, considering horror is purely subjective - inhabitants of a dimension we consider pure horror and chaos might think the same of our dimension
>are black holes gateways yo these dimensions
Almost certainly not - if anything, blackholes are gateways across spacetime within our own universe

The fiery brimstone place is Christian fanfiction.
The actual hell (a very cold place where you sleep forever) is a metaphor for eternal death and is achieved by being forgotten by everyone in the world of the living
"Hell is other people." - Sartre
>inb4 this turns into a shitfest about christianity
There are actually ancient stories about soldiers coming close to death and talking about heavenly and hellish visions. This is where heaven and hell probably came from. People today talk of the same thing. The question is, do they actually see heaven and hell or is it a delusion of the brain after a head injury or low oxygen levels.
Hell
The real one.

Imagination and literature.
Remember that mentally ill people are imagining things too. Like religions and most of paranoia.
Then again when you die, is there a hell or a heaven? No knowledge of that what so ever.
Warhammer lore has an amazing idea of hell. Chaos. And the idea is that man made chaos.
this is hell, no lie we all suffer from birth to death.
Think about it, why you are you and not someone else.

In one self place, for where we are is hell,
And where hell is must we ever be." — Doctor Faustus by Christopher Marlowe

Can make a heav'n of hell, a hell of heav'n." — Paradise Lost by John Milton
