I am with you on that one I have experienced demonic attack. I used to be an atheist until i realized what was going on was not my imagination. I became Christian and the demonic entity's attacking me were scared by me even saying Jesus name. It really is crazy because all my life i thought anyone that believed in God was crazy.

The spirit world is real i never even played with occult type things and i still opened doorways to this shit from sin. The reason i always had a hard time with Christianity was the eternal hell thing. And when i was confronted with this stuff in a VERY dark way i was scared for my soul.

I know atheist mindset so i dont even try to convert them. I just like to plant the seed so they can make the correct choice if they ever have a similar experience.
