Mysterious new image shows strange 'snail' object sliding across dwarf planet's heart. Pictures show a mysterious object appearing to 'slide' over the surface of the dwarf planet.

Godamn NASA, if they can't provide real-time full color streams of the surface of Pluto that meet the high standards of /x/ they should just get the fuck out of the Outer Space business right this very second.
>>
>>17197140
Ever notice how whenever someone wants to look at photos of distant planets there's just stupid "artist impression" images, surrounded by black background with no stars, and the shills say absolutely nothing when you question why they can't get better pictures.

Yet when they want to slide media events they shit out a bunch of stupid garbage in places like /x/ like a birds-eye view of some guy pulling a sled.

The bullshit industry is desperate for money. Sage btw.

Space is trippy m8, it might be nothing, or we can finally say we found "life"

Nobody knows man, but I wouldn't hold my breath.

>>17197336
But then we couldnt have threads where pictures of blobs are ancient alien dildo factories or something. Think of what it would do to poor moon moon

Aw man, the last space slug on Pluto. What a lonely life that would be!

Looks like a tomb stone with a small mound of dirt in front of it.

It could be the grave of an alien whose comrades decided to bury it on a dead lifeless planet.
>>
>>17199629
You're assuming the ayys have the same culture and customs that we do. Even on earth not every culture buries their dead. Some cultures practice cremation, others place their dead in caskets high on cliffs etc.

Pluto is so damn fucken cold that nothing could live there or "snail" around the surface. Most likely a remnant of a asteroid. Nothing could live there. unless some kind of new lifeform like silicon based existed but until i see it,i won't believe it.

>Other planets can have atmospheres.
>CAN

Yeah, but Pluto DOESN'T.
>>
>>17202823
It has a thin atmosphere when its orbit takes it closer to the sun. When it moves further away the atmosphere freezes and settles back onto the surface
>>
>>17202832
So, you're suggesting that because Pluto sometimes develops a very thin atmosphere, we can then assume that the same processes we observe on Earth (a planet with a very regular and dense atmosphere) certainly occur on Pluto as well?

A. The atmosphere Pluto develops is nowhere near as dense as Earth's.

B. No familiar atmospheric or geologic processes have been observed on Pluto.

C.
C(1): >>17197140
C(2): >>17197510
These two pictures were taken from different distances. OP's picture was taken from miles away, the sailing stones picture was taken from feet away. The scale of the object in OP's picture rules out sailing stones.
>>
>>17197510
Was gonna use this point too. If this is possible here, then why not a reasonable explanation for something that looks weird somewhere else

They can't provide live streaming - it wouldn't give them time to edit all the aliens they've been hiding for years. They can't control what you see if it's live

Just letting you know about the atmosphere, man

>>17202897
BECAUSE IT MAKES NO FUCKING SENSE RETARD.

SEE: >>17202893

YOU WANNA KNOW WHAT FUCKING CAUSED IT?!?!?!?!

A METEOR HIT THE PLANET, MELTED SOME ICE, AND THE MELTED ICE RAN OFF AND FORMED CHANNELS. THE DARK OBJECT IN THE PICTURE IS DEBRIS THAT WAS KICKED UP DURING.

OH AND SPEAKING OF WHICH:

I HOPE A BIG FUCKING METEOR HITS EARTH AND KILLS US ALL, ESPECIALLY RETARD SKEPTICS.

>>17197140
If you could film that spot over millions years, you'd probably see gigantic water-ice boulders skimming across a surface of solid nitrogen bubbling from tiny pressure changes in the layers of Pluto.

Humans don't count for shit.

The rock is magnetic. The path is created by a pull on it and Pluto's orbit.

Do you literally think we can take close-up HD full-color pictures of planets in other star systems?

You are a retard. That level of technology doesn't exist. The James Web telescope is the most advanced telescope ever built and it won't be able to do what you want it to do.

Besides, artists representations are always labelled as such, so only idiots confuse them for actual pictures. The artists use as much information about the planet as there is, so it's not like it's total random guessing either.
