As for other suggestions, The Babadook is one of the better scary movies to come out in recent years IMO. If you can tolerate experimental garbage in exchange for a few really disturbing scenes, Begotten would be another one worth checking out as well.

Watched it. Boring as hell. I was even browsing through my phone when watching it when I realize how repetitive it was. The only good things about was that it seems like a found footage, it was black and white, it was surreal as fuck, and the seizure guy was a pure freak.
