ITT: Obscure websites
Anyone care to check out some of the top ones on this list?
Anyone know what website that blue face is from? Looks like the boss from starfox. It was about you being put through 'tests' or something.
Does anyone know the website that generates images from google and mashes them together?
It's 2015 and you faggots are seriously suggesting proxies?
>people think proxies and vpn services don't keep records of ips
>people no realizing that the government is made of humans.
>people not realizing it's logistically imposible to police Internet activity of only 200 million people.
Even with the best data analytics Flagged keywords can generate 1million plus hits daily.
The only effective way of policing the net is to go after the contet sources and not the seekers of content.
That's not how it works bud, they bust the owners of the site who give the ip from the proxy/vpn, they contact the proxy/vpn company, boom your actual IP is there. I used to use vpnreactor, they keep records for about 3 days. It's not that they couldn't catch every online criminal who's dumb enough to trip an alarm, it's that they're too lazy to.
>implying any government cares that much about the common people to give a fuck
I've had so many "encounters" with the FBI monitoring my shit that I've realized that it's a giant joke for the most part
i just went to this website, made it to the page with 3 triangles, clicked one, cant remember which one, maybe the left one, then on this page, once i waved my mouse over towards the middle/right side of the screen there are a bunch of animated skulls lined next to eachother with an arrow next to them pointing left. i accidentally right clicked over the skulls and it saved an image in a ZIP file, and its asking for a password to open the zip file. in the bar that says the file name, there is one categorie (i dont know what else i would call it, some say the file name, the size, where its located etc) that says "password" and underneath it says 'yes' and when i type 'yes' in to the password box, it says its wrong. any ideas? any info? this zip file is saved onto my computer rn, do i delete it?
Anynowhere? Alex's website, homepage of Noctis?
Holy shit, I never thought I'd see that referenced anywhere. That place is barely even a microcommunity now.
I wish Alex weren't so depressed, he made really cool games and software.
Scariest site on the Internet: http://god.has.forgotten.me
Whatever happened to he guy who went to check this out? If I remember correctly, there were some pictures and videos posted. There was also a google docs page with all the pictures and text.
I don't get this one, seems like your average forum. No racism/porn/bigotry rule makes me think it's a bunch of redditfags or something. Is there something sinister hidden there?
What the fuck is this?
do NOT go to god.has.forgotten.me EVER
I went there once and it fucking changed who I was. It's hell in website form, it corrupts your very being. You'll spout nonsense at the other lunatics who'll giggle to themselves and reply with more nonsense, it erodes your mind.
Do NOT go to that place or anywhere associated with it. There are places where people are consumed with something called BANE (some kind of supernatural torturer I imagine as they also talk about how things are 'extremely painful') This creature is supposedly extremely large, compared to some humans at least, and whenever it strikes there have never been any survivors. From what I've gathered, when you face it, you must go alone, as you cannot bring any friends of allies.
One thing I know about the site is that there is a discussion feature few people know about. Once in a state of shock fit for a Lovecraft protag, I visited the site, and observed what It contained; only upon viewing the words of those who posted on it, did I know what truly happened here.
Over and over again, they repeated, that they needed nothigne lse that ther deprafed site was only place they had becaue the best the best the best the best the best
tpu tghe best theg sbetb the best thst besrd tghrtr best brestr thebets thgeuwt best
Yes, BANE. And before you ask, I have no idea why he covers his face. They're obsessed with that question. My first thought was that BANE was some kind of organization, like ISIS. But most of them claim to be members of the CIA.
They might not tell anything, but at least you can talk. Who are you, exactly? I haven't seen your trip around here, but I'm not that observant, really.
Would it kill you to take it off?
I abandoned the vomitive shithole uboachan is quite some time ago and I'm not going back there now, don't ever associate me with these "people" if they could even be called that
Just for pointing that out I'm going to back trace your IP with he help of the cyber police and I will forever associate you with the uboachanians.
So you're saying that if he removed it, his threads would crash off page 10, with no OC surviving?
>you'll thank me later
i went to the skulls thing and the password slluks works just fine.. its just a buncha pictures of some fake skulls being burried outin the middle of nowhere under certain rocks..
and then god has forgetten me or whatever links to b.. other websites i tried from OP's img dont work..
anyone actually know any ET websites or crazzy shit ?
>don't ever associate me with these "people"
Then don't go around saying that you once did.
No one know the website that grabs random images from google images and mashes them together?
That game was legitimately cool, actually.
I'll show you some shit.
>he didn't even visit
I've been a member of the site since it was still anywherebb.com, although I rarely even lurk these days. It's just the personal website of an italian software developer. He made a pretty great space sim for DOS (think No Man's Sky) called Noctis which gave me pretty powerful feels at the time. Oh, and he made a programming language.
He's since succumbed to self-loathing, and the website is pretty much dead save for a dozen or so hardcore members that post periodically.
I have no idea why it's on the list. Maybe the image creator just wanted to give the website publicity? Alex probably isn't coming back, so there's no point in it.
The subliminal monitor patent is just a bad idea. Pulsing pixel intensity at low frequency at a high enough amplitude to emit an electromagnetic field extending an effective distance with an effective magnitude would be incredibly noticeable.
In case you're still here, it's a space sim that emphasizes planetary exploration, in a hideously low resolution permitted by DOS. You can name a planet from your boxy spacecraft (a Star Drifter) and land on any point of the planet to walk around freely. Everything is procedurally generated. The developer made it a point NOT to include any form of combat in the game.
Fittingly enough for a game written in a years long bout of depression, the atmosphere is crushingly lonely. The game's backstory states that the player's parent race vanished without a trace while the explorers piloting the star drifters were busy cataloging nearby star systems. Poof. And the number of Felisians continues to dwindle, since they aren't terribly fertile or interested in reproduction.
The developer did some borderline Tolkien-tier worldbuilding, including some sketches of Felisians, details on their society and technology, the foundations for a constructed language, and unique units of measurement for time and distance.
The game has aged poorly though, and I don't think it'll even run on Windows 7 machines or DOSBOX.
When I first downloaded Tor I read a few articles on obscure sites and a few of them mentioned there was a site dedicated to medical experimentation on homeless people. Whether it's fake or not, I've still never been able to find a link. Does anyone know what I'm talking about?
Use 4 VPNs
Use 25 Proxies
A computer with hot swap bay and Fire pit in your room.
>10/10 over kill will work
Fear not, Anon. I know all about that site.
Upon clicking the massive cluster oftext you are greeted with MANY things, Corrupted pictures, and nonsensical links EVERYWHERE.
Clicking on these can lead to all sorts of strange things. You'll find things that look like bomb maps, Pigeons (for some reason.), strange gifs of rotating 3D models, Porn, a corrupted blog with jumbled text, It really is a strange experience.
It, however, turned out to be a art project by some dude who's name I can't remember.
Damn I got my hopes up, I really wanna see the paranormal web or alien web. I mean imagine seeing hell and heaven via the websites they create. It would be interesting to see them manifest their electronic magnetic power into actual data.
Not gonna google it myself, so I dunno the severity of what you saw, but you won't get vanned for one mistake.
THe courts have a tough enough time prosecuting the maintainers of nudism sites.
shitty bump so I can play around on these sites without hitting the archieves tomorrow
Well, I would have directed you to the thread about that site with the password info and stuff, but the janitor deleted it off page 2 for some reason. Oh well.
Is there any collections of Urban Legends anywhere? I don't mean shit like Windigo or Spring-Heeled Jack, I mean Urban Legends like the guy who got run down with a steamroller and lived or the guy who tried to kill himself with a floor buffer.
