I'm not going to let you suck my tit
I'm so fancy
but you already know
I'm in the fast lane
from L.A. to Tokyo
years of drug abuse have left me with a very weak mind. how do I strenghen it to the point where I'm able to concentrate again so I can preform meditation in spite of all the mental chaos?
you can read the three books by franz brandon.
Im pretty sure that is exactly what you will be looking for.
1. Introduction into Hermetics
2. Practice of magical Evocation
3. The key to the true Quabbalah
In the third book it tells you EXACTLY what you want to know, and I believe in the first as well.... So dont be an arrogant prick, take 2minutes to download the pdfs off the internet, and you will have your answers with an hour of reading, perhaps less if you know how to us CTRL+F
i'm just starting to dabble in the lucid dreaming/meditation/AP stuff and a lot of it seems to involve visualizing things. i kinda have a hard time with that, is there anything i can do to improve?
de-calcify your pineal gland?
Meditate more? or on visualization specifically - almost like manifesting the vision into your head, or willing it through repetition.
Just never give up, and you can't possible fail ahaha you know... The only reason you will never realize your dreams, is because you gave up on attempting to realize them .
I think thats normal lol.
If it's memory, try to write down the way you feel and what you experience. In meditation, you want to focus on the sensations you feel.
I'm not a very spiritual person but I would like to be. I like to think I'm open to whatever's out there but I can't get myself to open up my mind to accept notions that go beyond my perception and reasoning. Any hints(besides meditation of course) to help me become more open to the esoteric?
I've only managed to really meditate once and even then I'm not sure if I didn't just pass out, like normally I either sit there for an hour being too uncomfortable for anything, or I pass out.
What can I do to fix this shit?
You're probably meditating for too long. I'd say 15-20 minutes should be enough. After too long you may tend to get uncomfortable especially if you're inexperienced and you may even fall asleep.
nothing works, and it is getting depressing.
prayers, sigils, astral, even a simple lucid dream eludes me. this is my 4th year trying btw. i maintain a daily journal, meditate twice daily, practice asanas. i've tried stepping away for a month. i've tried vipassana. i've talked to people with different perspectives.
at this point, i can not even answer why i'm trying. the call that i felt which made me start now sounds like a taunt and ridicule.
when (and how) does one know when to give up?
the funny thing about decalcifying one's pineal gland without proper medical treatment is that the chunks of calcium that break off can get stuck and cause aneurisms.
i wonder how many people are going to die early deaths because of this kind of advice?
electro-convulsive therapy. the electric current atomizes the calcium deposits. It usually involves some temporary memory loss, but it's a lot better than falling over with blood leaking out of your ears.
I have a question. I started meditation a few weeks ago. The problem that occurs is that when i follow my flow of thought that there are barely any thoughts that come up. And the ones that come up are made by myself, like:watch your thought
