So much this. There is an area of sea bed that corresponds to the description given by Plato in several particulars.
1. He says Atlantis lies outside the Med (beyond the pillars of Hercules). He says it is connected to a chain of other island, and a continent on the far side. Thus he predicts the existence of America pretty accurately. And describes the sea bed of the west Atlantic!
2. A large rectangular plain, with mountains on three sides. There is such a thing on the sea bed near the Azores.
3. A mountain near the coast "broke off all around". There is a flat topped mountain on the edge of this area.

There is also a most curious set of (for want of a better word) lines on the sea bed near this mountain, which is approx 40 miles across. This is square, and has the appearance of a city layout. Remember, this is under a couple of miles of ocean.

Have you ever read Critias by Plato? He wrote himself is fictional. Atlantis is the land of Atlas, a mythical figure. But Atlantis is the world people work, not have their private life. So the corporations, the farmers land, the schools (from the teachers point of view), the church (from the preachers point of view), the airport (from the pilots point of view).

Was looking through thread an saw this.

My best guesses have always been within this pic.

What I have considered when looking at this region is what could have been above sea level before the end of the Ice Age.

What I found was there are only a few good candidate islands - and then even those would require around ~150m in tectonic rifting/subsidence over the last few millennia to have been an Ice Age island.
