I believe its just the way our eyes refresh constantly. Like the flicker on a monitor and what you can see are all of the small connections between your nerves in the eye.
We also get burn in just like a monitor. Try staring at the sun and the closing your eyes or staring at anything else. It will create sun spots that slowly fade.

Anti-Vaxxers Directly to Blame for Measles Outbreak

Measles is one of the most highly contagious viruses known. Ninety percent of people exposed to the virus will get infected if they have not been vaccinated. While most kids recover after a rash, fever and perhaps a cough, it can lead to serious complications from pneumonia to encephalitis, a brain inflammation that can cause permanent disabilities and sometimes can kill.

Since the beginning of the year, 50 cases of measles have been reported in the Minneapolis area, Minnesota's largest outbreak in nearly thirty years. Most of the patients are in the city's large Somali immigrant community, which has been targeted by anti-vaccine activists urging them to skip or delay vaccinating their children.

"This isn't benign," Said Kris Ehresmann, infectious disease director at the Minnesota Department of Health. "One of the challenges we face is all of the misinformation that has been targeted at the Somali community. Starting in 2008 . . . the anti-vaccine folks started targeting the community."

Before 2008, the vaccination rate for measles was above 90 percent among the Somali immigrant community in Minnesota. Now it's at 41 percent, Ehresmann said.

Many of the Somali immigrants knew the dangers of measles. They have seen it firsthand - Somalia is suffering from a serious measles epidemic, with over 5700 cases reported. But they thought measles was not a threat in the U.S. and were told it was safe to delay vaccinating their kids in Minnesota.

Andrew Wakefield, a disgraced Briton who lost his medical license after being found guilty of falsifying data and other unethical practices in a paper that purported to show a link between the measles, mumps and rubella vaccine and autism has been touring the U.S. and has visited Minnesota several times, health officials said.

Burial Chamber of Egyptian Princess Found

Archaeologists have made a fascinating discovery inside a 3,800-year-old pyramid in Dahshur, Egypt. A wooden box found inside the chamber bears the name 'Hatshepset' and is thought to have belonged to an Egyptian princess who was the daughter of the pharaoh Ameny Qemau. The discovery was made within one of two pyramids built for Qemau and it is thought that his daughter's untimely death may account for why more than one had been constructed.

The box, which had been looted long ago, once contained canopic jars - special containers used to store individual internal organs removed from the deceased during the mummification process.

"The pyramid is not of a type appropriate to a princess," said Aidan Dodson of the University of Bristol. "It must therefore have been built for a king, but then usurped for her burial. There is no reason why he should have built two pyramids of his own."

A poorly preserved sarcophagus is also believed to be among the finds within the chamber.

The Body of America’s First Serial Killer Exhumed

H.H. Holmes, the notorious Devil in the White City, was hanged in the Philadelphia County Prison on May 7, 1896. Holmes was said to have killed as many as 200 people in his Chicago “Murder Castle” while stalking the city during the 1893 World’s Fair.

According to some, Holmes didn’t die on the gallows, but instead perpetrated one last scam and made his escape. A pamphlet published later in 1896 called Hanged by Proxy: How H.H. Holmes Cheated the Gallows was written by L. W. Warner, a man Holmes claimed to have murdered but was very much alive. Warner told a reporter in 1897 that a poor physician was hanged in place of Holmes. A couple of months later in Chicago, Robert Latimer, another of Holmes’s alleged murder victims, told the Chicago Daily Inter-Ocean that Holmes was alive and well, growing coffee in South America.

After 121 years of controversy, it seems Holmes’s descendants decided it was time to find out the truth. Two of Holmes' great-grandchildren, John and Richard Mudgett, successfully petitioned the court to have Holmes exhumed to finally determine just who is buried in his grave. Digging started at the end of April at the Holy Cross Cemetery in Philadelphia. After the remains are chipped out of the concrete, the Anthropology Department of the University of Pennsylvania will perform the DNA analysis.

This is exactly it, but people can't understand it. They think law of attraction is something you wish hard for few days and then it will happen overnight. Yeah, no.

I've had some success a few years ago. Enough to "believe" for sure.

And I definitely know that the complexity of the "Simulation" is much more complex than code.

But demonic stuff doesn't gel well with me, and law of attraction/prayer stuff seems more suited to "generic" long term directional stuff.

I'm curious if there is anyone who has tried to "merge" magick type stuff with computer knowledge or anything vaguely in that direction.
