>Dude diving can't decide if he wants to run her over or take off into the night
>After a bit of this the lady gets understandably pissed off

>Dudes take off into the night

Like seriously, how can anyone find this scary?

So I'm now tired, in a pretty awful mood, and have a story worth posting to /x/ for the first time, so I figured I'd make a thread here.

I tend to have dreams relatively frequently, not an abnormal thing for me, but rarely are they lucid.

I've had two exceptions to this so far.

The first is someone I call my "dream-friend.".
She(?)'s pretty cool, and someone I see every few years. We talk, generally at a cafe, I let her know what's going on with my life (though funnily enough I know fairly little about hers) and about every 2 to 4 years she comes to chat again.

I'm not the religious type but the visits are also nice and make me feel better, so... I pretty much just don't question it on her part.

I'm not here about those dreams.
I'm here about the reason I woke up fifteen minutes ago in a cold sweat.

It started when I was about seven years old:

A dream involving a super nintendo and a derpy looking game with chalk drawings over a black canvas that, now that I think back, I don't think the SNES could have done.

The very first time, I was aware of the rules before I played it, though they've changed slightly since then.

The rules were simple:
#1 of 3: start the game

The games in question were generally a puzzle or something simple like that. still are. Don't recall the specific details of this part from tonight, but I think I was doing some sort of digging puzzle? I don't know, the details of that are always the first thing for my brain to discard.

maybe it's so we can't share answers.

#2: if you win, you add three years to your lifespan.

This rule, noticeably, has changed over the years. The first time I played, it was 3. At one point, I think I was offered 10 after the first play.
most of the time it's just 1. still a lot of time.
As I am someone who's a little afraid of that whole death thing and such, It's still pretty tempting. Not exactly worth the second rule, of course,

If you lose, you die.

so, mistakes in OP, sorry:

I counted "play the game" as the first rule for some reason.

in reality, I wasn't counting it when I said there were 3 rules, initially.
I'm halfway to a panic attack at the moment and writing while I have the memory to, so I'm probably going to correct myself a few times. Sorry.

where was I?

Ah yes, the game has 3 rules.
The first 2 are pretty much a good reason not to play the game.

If you win, you gain a tiny bit of lifespan.
If you lose, you die.

The kicker is the third rule:

"first play's free.".

This rule is the most ambiguous, and makes my forced plays a little less nerve-wracking, but not by much.
The first 2? I've got a good grasp on what the fuck's going on.

3? No fucking clue what that means

I don't know if it counts first play that dream, or ever.
Was it the first time I played at seven?
Does it count per dream?
Does it mean "if you lose first try, you don't die?"

Or... is there some other sick price for the opportunity to gamble for your lifespan?

I've got no fucking clue, and that's probably the thing that bugs me most.

Rule 3 fucking sucks. Not as much as 2 though.

That's right, I mentioned "forced plays" earlier.

The first time I played this? I knew what the fuck I was doing going in. Well, as much as a seven year old knows fuck all at least.

Since then?
Every time I'm offered the game I am forced to play it. it starts off in front of me and I just blindly start without thinking about it. every damn time.

It's not until after the first play I become fully lucid and able to understand what I'm in for.

What I actually play? Completely differs. Most of the time it's a puzzle game in the end though. I've had old-style cups along with new-style vidya games offered to me. chalk drawing seems to be a common theme, though fuck if I know why.

Most recently, it was a laptop. It was a pretty shit one too, if I recall correctly. had to play with a trackpad.
>>
This dream doesn't exactly go any different, for the most part, at least for me, at least after the first time.

Play a stupid puzzle game - which, thankfully, are generally pretty easy. I was confused about this at first, but honestly? it makes perfect sense. First play's free, right? So why not make it easy, then. Free 2 play games do that all the time too - they give you something super easy and fun to get you to pay in.

God, I hope I never find out what I have to do to "pay in.".

anyways, I play the game, i hear the "doot doot doot!" or get some confetti on the win, and i'm returned to lucidity, and I understand the nature of the game I'm playing.

now, I said everything's the same, but I will admit there's been one thing that's gotten worse every time and it's the reason I never wanna have this dream again?

I can FEEL something there.

At first, it was a passive, quiet presence. Watching me play the game. I knew it was there, and it was creepy, but that's all.

Every time I play, though, it feels a little closer. a little more malevolent. A little bit more "solid".

At first, it was just like being watched on a surveillance camera and knowing about it - you're aware, but it doesn't exactly bug you that much.
It's gotten progressively closer, and now, eight years after my last dream, turns out it's not about frequency at all?
Felt like the fucker was looking over my shoulder.
And he wasn't happy.

Still, I doubt playing the game's gonna help any on that front.

So I guess I can talk about that - the being running this - even if I don't know much about him.

You feel his presence. you know he's there. this time, he left me a box of chocolates entitled "for you.".

Eating them appeared to keep him satisfied enough to... I don't know?

What his power is I'm uncertain, and I certainly didn't do much empirical digging, but I'm aware of the fact he runs whatever this is - even if he's just some psychotic figment of my imagination - and he wants me to play.

Hey guys, I had a good idea for a thread.
>let's make an infographic/screencap/archive of all the types of paranormal things we know of, how to identify them, and how to deal with them.

I will try to be as informative and correct as possible and I will post with the following format where applicable:

>name and type of creature or phenomenon

>threat/danger level

>how to identify

>how to deal with or respond/known weaknesses

That said, I'd like to start somewhere familiar to /x/ so I'll start with the different types of skinwalkers/fleshgaits/bodysnatchers.
Feel free to add to my guides as I am not intimately familiar with every paranormal thing. (Also posting from mobile so I hope the format looks alright)

Oops, had to refresh the page and the name changed back to test, oh well.

I'll start with a clarification.
>name: Skinwalker (the Indian kind)

>threat: 1.5/5

>how to identify: skinwalkers are something to the effect of native American shamans that have the ability to change into various animals, ad reported by anon they have been seen as various kinds of wolves, and also as deer. They pretty much just do normal animal stuff most of the time and as such are basically only as dangerous as a normal wild animal of the same kind.

>how to deal with: pretty much the same as a wild animal, just shoot it or something. Supposedly if you want to guarantee a kill you can find out who it is and just call them by name while in animal form, I have also heard a story about them leaving their human guts in random places and it also kills them if you hide their guts
>>
>>19020772
>fleshgait/bodysnatcher (the generic kind)

>2/5

>they are sometimes seen as pale skinned and relatively featureless humanoids, they are ambush predators that like to lure unsuspecting people into the woods and pretty much kill and eat them/take their form and repeat the process. Most of the time they're reported to be able to attempt to mimic human speech and (if posing as a human) social interaction, but not well.

>basically just don't follow them into the forest or secluded locations, and if you have to fight them they are supposedly strong but sluggish and are pretty hard to kill. To kill one, knock it out or incapacitate it, and decapitate it then burn the corpse. Make very sure to gather the ashes of its burnt corpse also as they make it much easier to kill more as they are extremely weak to anything coated with the ashes of their kind.
(I have also heard that you can use some other kind of ash but I do not remember what kind)
>>
>>19020788
>fleshgait/bodysnatcher (the black dog/wolf kind)

>3/5

>basically a large canine or similar that is capable of reproducing human speech much better than the standard fleshgait, and much faster as well. It lures people into the woods with the sound of people calling for help, then attacks.

>same as above, don't fall for the calls from the woods. If you do and encounter this type without any weapons then cut and run as fast as you can out of the woods, there are a few greentexts out there of people who encountered this type and got away so as long as you can run fast you're probably okay. No reported weaknesses, I recommend headshots with high caliber firearms.

I'm having a hard time with life and am experiencing a loss of hope in my life and need help from someone, to hopefully guide me in the right direction, give me hope that my life is worth it. I feel stuck and need some sort of spiritual intervention or something (not interested in cults). I was raised in a Lutheran household but I don't believe in the idea of this "God". I saw a Reiki specialist a while ago but she just told me where things were active or blocked off. It was interesting but not very helpful. I was thinking of looking into seeing a Shaman, or maybe a hypnotist, I'm really not sure, so I am coming to you, /x/, for suggestions on what kind of person I should look to for additional support. I already see a therapist and psychiatrist and I feel I need more than they can provide.

Anon, the best advice my dad ever gave me was this: "If your life isn't moving in the direction you want it to then you are expecting too much. Your life will not match up with another's. You will accomplish things in your own time and, as long as you are happy and healthy, there is nothing wrong with that."

He said this in response to me feeling lost after I had repeatedly changed majors and eventually dropped out of college. I was feeling hopeless and lost. I felt like a piece of garbage. But I took his advice and, in my own time, went back to school. The month before I went back I got hired at a plumbing and electrical supply store. I talked with a lot of seasoned electricians and I found that I loved electricity. One associates in Industrial Electrical Technology and a B.A. in Electrical Engineering later and I had a great job at a combine cycle power plant and I made a lot of money for a single guy. Months later and still following my Dad's advice and I met a girl by chance at my best friend's wedding. Now I'm married with an eight-month-old.

The moral is this, anon; seeking spiritual help is great. I'm a christian, myself. But the only thing that is keeping you from a fulfilling life is yourself. Do things in your own time and you might find some sense of worth.

Pretty wise words. My therapists said something similar. Do what's in your reach and don't worry too much about the future. Expectations can hurt you. Which makes me think about that song.

You're right, man. Things will shape up in time.

Good ass song, btw.

Cops and Feds operation at Fisherman's Wharf/Fort Mason has planned lethal attacks on the public tonight. DEA has been mentioned again with more information than the description, "The DEA is a pile of shit." These heretics hire young people that are not cops or feds. They are also abducting/illegally bugging the public for personal gain. They claim to be responsible for the burning of Oakland, CA's Ghost Ship, which took the lives of 36 young people. They just stated that they do not want anymore feds in the USA. They're targeting the nuclear power/submarine in the San Francisco Bay. Contact USAF special investigations as well. They remain a threat to President Trump. FBI office of San Francisco is a threat and remains corrupt.

Greetings fellow /x/philes I was wondering if you guys have any opinion on the religion of Kek. Sure, it started out as a meme but I wonder if we accidentally really summoned an ancient egyptian god or something.

Ever since I bought my kek idol (pic definitely related) the amount of repeating digits I witness on a daily basis has increased drastically. I work in the market of a grocery store and the prices of the meat I weigh up end with 3 repeating digits about 10% of the time, regardless of the meat. I have always noticed repetition like that but it usually would only happen once or twice a day if at all, but now it is consistently once like every 30 minutes a new one pops up. My life, in general, has been a whole lot more hectic and random after buying it.

Do you guys think it is the actual god kek due to all the coincidences, a tulpa, or is it just all in my head?

My friend's girlfriend claims to see spirits and have a footing in the spirit world. She showed me these numbers 9 13 45 16 and asked me wether they looked familiar. I don't really know what to say about it but it's creeping me out. And I also think that it has something to do with the zodiac and horoscope bs
