Sounds like a great idea anon, the potential audience for something like this would be huge if you can get the word out. It seems like a lot of aussies, especially in rural areas have an interest in this sort of thing.
In terms of my input, I think it would help to start with the more commonly known subjects, and gradually up the intensity and weirdness and go deeper into things. Maybe throw in something really out there every now and then to throw people off there feet.

Also I know a bit about audio production, I'd be happy to help if you want. I could even make a spooky intro song.

Fellow Australian here. That sounds like a great start. Pretty wide coverage of topics there. The Tamam Shud case and the disappearance of Friedrich Valentich both in particular have always fascinated me and given me the spooks.

Born and raised in a rural area myself, it seems like every other person has a tale or two, especially the outdoorsy types. I don't quite know what it is but there's something inherently unsettling and sometimes sinister about the bush.

Yes, I was raised Jehovah's Witness and my whole family (who now shun me, including my parents) are JWs. They kicked me out of the house at 18 and I haven't spoken to my family in 10 years. I was homeless for some time and have had terrible mental issues from the cult, for example, long-term clinical depression, a huge chunk of my childhood blocked from my memory (I don't remember much at all until I was about 15).

Jehovah's Witnesses may just seem like a bunch of weirdos in ill-fitting polyester suits who knock on your door on Saturday mornings, but they're very much an apocalyptic, millennialist, high-control group.

I researched their insane doctrines, crazy history, and their numerous failed prophecies. I cut off any contact with cult members who I had previously thought to be friends. The JW elders were stalking me and I reported them to the police. And finally I got kicked out for being an atheist and an "apostate" when I was 18, I spent about six months homeless as I waited to go to university.
