Hi there, this thread is about what we can do with our minds and our will.

Hi /x/
I'll come right out and say it. No real story attached but I'm positive I'm dealing with an intelligent haunting in my home. My cousin lives with me and said someone was knocking on the front door last night and then his bedroom door.
We were just hanging out today and a six foot tall lamp just fell over right next to the TV and we could also hear some shit being jumbled about downstairs. We've both openly acknowledged weird things are happening and vocalized our concerns to one another but neither of us know what we should do. It has progressively become worse, more active and started interacting physically with objects in the same room we occupy during mid day no less.
I'm looking for recommendations on what I should do to get rid of it and how it got here, what it wants and why this location. Feel free to ask questions. Thank you in advance.

It's been happening for a few months now but it's mostly shit we could all ignore. The first time we really noticed it was when I wasn't even here. My cousin was home however and he was just watching TV downstairs and it was around midnight or so and he said he heard knocking on the garage door entrance. No one knows to use that door since it's kind of hidden so he instantly knew something was up. It was an audible three knocks and continued periodically for about two full minutes. The main house is connected by a breeze-way to a small apartment house where my other cousin lives. So he gets called to go outside and investigate since cousin number 1 doesn't want to open the door.
So Cousin number 2 rounds the corner and said he heard the knocking on the door too(it's a very specific sound and easily recognizable). Knocking that came in increments of three. He heads all the way to the garage door entrance where the knocking on the door is coming from but he said it stopped once he got there. Cousin number 1 opens the door to meet him and they investigate but find nothing. This was the first major event because it was witnessed by two people.

Hey there, I have something that im sure some of you will be interested in...
I joined the freemasons when I was 18 years old after taking a 500ug and acheiving "5th dimensional enlightenment". I was basically just pure happiness and love for 3 weeks. Absoluetly incredible but eventually wore off to a state of understanding and love without the euphoric happiness.
ANYWAY

I wish I didn't exist. I'm not even sad about anything. I've been thinking of all the horrible things people do to each other and all the made u reasons we make to hate one another. If you tried to do the right thing and change the mind of a racist, it might work. But in the process, 30 other racists are gonna have you as a new reason to hold onto their hate. Hold those cigarettes close to your heart, I guess.
I try every day to make the world a better place and my life is relatively very nice in part because of that. I tell girls they're pretty when I don't actually think they are because they should like themselves. I offer to feed the homeless when asked for money. I just try not to be a shitty human, but it always comes back to this feeling. Seeing that no matter how much good an individual can do, there will always be an infinity of bad that they're trying to clean up. It's an un-doable task. I'm not even upset by that anymore. Just jaded.
How sad is that? The world you live in is tortured by seeminly immortal evils and instead of being upset by that, it's just taught you to feel nothing. I may as well not exist as far is the universe is concerned, but I still try so hard every day to make these other insignificant feel a little better about their part in reality. If it's all for naught, than it's just as well that I resign, right? To whom do I turn in the badge and belt? And don't give me any sweet or sour afterlife, either. I don't have to see it to know it's another rotten lie. Just let me be void. Make me null. I want nothing to do with these moot points any longer. If the big One hears this echo of an idea, let me in on the joke or just wipe me off of the windshield already.
And to make this relevant to the board, I ask you this; what do you to make the world a better place? Do you incorporate anything you learn from your studies into the paranormal and fringe science to help make the world a little less shitty? Is there a point in trying?

interesting. My views are exo theism. idk what it is but I've always felt like normie theism didn't make sense to me and atheism is just denying your true self.
I have always felt this way too even when Christianity was being thumped into me as a child. It didn't feel right at all and atheism felt empty.
I think we do reincarnate and go through different experiences so this has me interested. I don't really care who I was in a past life, I just want to verify that I had past lives so that I'll be more comfortable with death.
