Suppose you had a best friend for over a decade. Over that course of time your best friend has never lied, not even a superficial lie to spare someone's feelings. Now imagine that friend telling you that they're an alien from a distant star system. They tell you they're here on a special intergalactic visa and they're about to leave soon. They tell you they're not allowed to reveal their existence through some intergalactic law. They tell you that by telling you they're an alien they haven't broken a law because they haven't provided undeniable proof that they are what they claim. Your best friend is willing to answer any questions you have that don't directly reveal their existence.

How would you phrase a question they would be willing to answer but would also serve as strong proof?

I recently acquired a ~25GB of occult books/files, and since I haven't found the time to go through them (must be at least 500 books in there), I was wondering if I could get a "summary" of what I'm getting into. Maybe some good starting points as well.

Also, is this all gonna be "believe in yourself and you can make everything real" or will I be able to do some Telekinesis shit at some point? I mean, you can't talk about "warping the universe around you" and then tell me fireballs and going full-on Sith ain't possible...

I'm studying Physics at my Uni, and I've long been in support of the "Renaissance Man" who dabbles in everything, so I figured this was worth looking into, even if magic is mostly a bunch of hocus-pocus bull. I mean, I do have some religious beliefs, so why not give it a shot, right? Maybe it'll help with physics as well, who knows?

Welp, so the past weeks I have been doing some intense body training and ever since every time I went to sleep and I close my eyes, I would see a sort of "grey alien" face with huge eyes looking back at me and then going away in a few seconds. So yesterday I was wondering if by trying meditation I could somehow see something different or maybe get an idea what was up with my head.

Well, I did try it, I put on some Black Magic incense, some reiki music on the headphones, and sat still with crossed legs and a straight posture for what I felt was around 20 minutes. (turned out it was almost 40 minutes)
At first my mind was just everywhere, ideas and visuals of the day ran through my head like a highway, lots of optical noise in other words, but I noticed a recurring theme a pattern, I always had eyes on most of them, sometimes one eye looking at me, sometimes two, sometimes a lot, and then it would just continue as normal, having ideas and pictures.
After around 10 minutes I couldn't feel most of my body anymore, the air from the fan felt very tingly and strong on my skin and then for a strange reason I began to think of a pyramid in the center of my mind, an eight sided pyramid rotating, acting as a sort of center image to focus, and I did. By this time I did not had as much mental noise as before and I could easily concentrate on the pyramid as it shined brightly and rotated, while the music on the headphones continued with a constant beat. Then out of nowhere my mind told me (it felt like it was going into a state of flight or fight instinct) "there is something with you in the room, protect yourself" so I did not open my eyes but instead made a mental barrier and immediately felt I was safe (I just visualized a white bubble all around me as a sort of barrier).

Can we get a thread about creepy vidya easter eggs / myths / exploits etc?

I know WoW (especially Vanilla and TBC) had some sp00ky exploits like hidden places where you could get there only by wall jumps, or other "illegal" methods. One example is Captain Morgan's Crypt, where you could find hanged corpses.
I also remember the myth (which is true) about the demonic kids of elwyn forest, They formed a pentagram, and if you stayed for long time in their room, you could hear the old ones whisper to you.

I know other vidya like GTA had plenty of spooky stuff

any alien civilization capable of long-range interstellar space travel will be orders of magnitude above us technologically. wouldn't this imply that trying to prevent or deter alien study of the planet would be pointless? it would be like some polar bears versus the entire united states armed forces, sure maybe we might get a lucky shot in but in the end their intelligence would mean that they'd be capable of strategy and co-ordination on scales we can't even conceive of.

Hey /x/, I just got into the occult a few weeks ago and have been practicing sigil magick with my girlfriend and our best friend since then. We've done a lot of meditation and learned to read energy, hone some psychic abilities etc.

I recently saged my house because I felt a sort of brooding presence at night and since then I'd been fine.

My girlfriend has never saged her house nor done any banishing rituals since she's started doing magick a few weeks ago with me. Recently, things have started to go missing without explanation. A bong (that everyone remembers me putting in my bag) went missing from her house and any other place I'd been. Her speakers, which are always left in her room, were also missing. Then $100 from her wallet that she's completely sure was in her wallet on her dresser the previous night. And lately, her mother's phone has gone missing as well. All of these things have disappeared from her house over night. The house is nearly a century years old in a small town in New Jersey. Her dad thinks that it's robbers but I don't know who would rob the same house several times for single objects while everyone is home at night. Granted, they don't lock their door so it certainly is a possibility. But we aren't sure, it's really spooky regardless. What do you guys think?

I have already made videos and proven I am being telepathically ruined by something

I need serious answers on how to block thoughts and emotions from it. I am sick of thinking of these people and like this letter I wrote I write down lots of the ideas I hear with my mind from somewhere and maybe even the future

Everything I write has cryptic patterns in it too

How do I block this shit? It's getting hard to enjoy life when getting strong emotions and thoughts for a woman I know almost nothing about
