It was about as tall as me.

A friend of mine saw one shapeshift.

He was at a party for rich people. One of them pulled my friend aside, brought him into a separate room, closed the door. It was an older man, in a suit, friendly. Anyway, long story short, this wealthy, older gentleman shapeshifted into a reptilian right in front of my friend.

I believe these creatures exist. Why they're here, I wish I knew.

Anyway, my friend was so freaked out by the experience that he wound up in a bad place emotionally, got depressed, and started doing crack to escape his memory. He's clean now, but still pretty messed up.
