I see the word believe used a lot on /x/ as opposed to know. Is knowledge just a sufficiently strong belief, or is it a belief that does not require faith?
For example, I know the capital cities of the US, but someone believes in God. I would ask if the difference is proof, but that isn't always true in conversation. For example, people say the know what the ultimate fate of the universe is cosmologically or they know what happens to consciousness when you die, but neither argument has particularly sufficient proof as it stands.

I want to read some opinions about this topics.
This week i've been using The secret unconsciously, for example, yesterday i wondered if i could see again an ex-friend, and today i saw it in the street. The fact is, she is not from my city and when we were friends, she rarely came here.

lets say that im being haunted or attacked or messed with by a demon/spirit, would creating a sigil focused around protection specifically against these entities, or a sealing/warding sigil be a possible creation? i know that sigils are pretty loose and can be just about anything, but just how practical can they get?

Hello /x/, I've been noticing some dodgy shit happening in my room. Alright so. My room isn't connected to the main house and I would often wake up to loud bangs and noises of stuff falling. I would usually brush this off as I'm not easily spooked, I would be on call to my girlfriend and would go inside the house to get food or a drink. She has often told me she would hear noises of doors opening or trash being moved around. She would say "I think Bentley came into your room *my dog* but he was inside. The part that made me freak out is I tried opening my shelves for my clothes and they where stuck. When I came back and my girlfriend told me what she heard I realised the shelves where wide open.
