Is knowledge of the occult/mythology/metaphysical considered a worthy endeavor for someone trying to become a polymath? What sort of suggestions would /x/ have for media that can broaden my horizons and expand my knowledge of the world? >me and friends go to this abandoned house on some old farm land a lot
>electricity cut off, entire walls torn out, has to have been unoccupied for at least 30 or so years
>one night I stay the night at friends house with two other guys
>don't like them that much, as I'm the only highschooler that was there
>but I was bored and my friends weren't available, so I hung with them
>his dad is cool, let's us leave after sundown
>they wanna do immature shit like doorbell ditch, but i don't like being disruptive
>decide to go to abandoned house
>as we cross out of development into farmland, I get a bad feeling
>let me add, there is absolutely no lights from distant farmhouses out here, just empty, dark, land
>we continue walking, after we hop the fence and are officially trespassing, I get even worse feeling
>I'm not a pussy at all, I explore a lot of abandoned shit and love paranormal stuff, but I'm damn near shitting myself from this feeling
>I keep going with them tho, don't wanna ruin the night by turning back
>50 yards from house, light turns on in there, like a flashlight, only me and another guy see it

I don't know what it was that we saw, I told them it was probably a tweaker or something (we do live near a big methlover tourist attraction) but I think it was something much, much worse. (Pic related is a screenshot of a video I took in there, my apologies for the shit quality)

Forgot to mention that I also live on a bigass Indian burial ground in northern California, the company that built our housing development did a horrible job picking a spot for building, a lot of spooky shit happens in my house whenever a new housing phase begins, my brother always claims there is ghosts in his room when he is 5 and doesn't even know what a ghost is. Ik I wanted other stories on this thread but I was hoping you guys on this thread could help me figure out just wtf I saw that night at the abandoned house

Do any of you guys remember The Haven? months ago someone made a thread about it and with all the speculation we were able to figure out quite a bit about Haven. After our attention died off though they became quiet until a few weeks ago.
I'm interested to see if anyone else remembers this and would be willing to dive back into it again. Maybe we can kick the nest again ya know?

anyone remember an old ARG from like 2011-2012ish maybe, i have completely forgottten almost everything it involved but it had the basic shit (encrypted jpgs and rar files, spectro stuff, map coordinates and anons went out to check shit out etc) but the 2 things i remember most of all are this.
1. there were scans of a book. looked new. it was unintelligble gibberish full of weird ass mystic runes and shit, had a strange latin name and was mostly in latin. some bullshit like "daemonium verus verum blah blah"
2. all of the info on this ARG was composed in a wordpress blog after the fact with a midi file of dragonforce's thru the fire and the flames playing in the background.
i would love to know if anyone can remember this shit please thank you
