"Celebrity scientists" are used to gain the public's trust and keep them blind. Why do you think they're allowed to have tv shows? There's even the idea that the real Steven Hawking was replaced in the mid 80's. People will generally believe whatever a scientist tells them.

I'm not a huge fan of exorcism films, or the kind with that sort of formula, but "The Taking of Deborah Logan" pleasantly surprised me. Genuine skin-crawling material. Also a pretty intelligent movie with lots of small details that make it worth re-watching.
And if you haven't seen it already, definitely watch "Se7en." One of my favorite psychological horror/thrillers.

Okay so I dont know what the fuck is going on. I rescently started working at a restaurant that had been converted over from an older house. Supposedly two people had died in that house and it was haunted yada yada yada. Yet the haunted thing I can confirm from my own experience with seeing a person in a doorway that wasnt really there and a door slamming for no reason. The haunted part I reallly dont care about but another aspect freaks me out slightly. Anything you say out loud that can happen, will happen almost instantly. Examples are: the other night one of our receipt machines broke. Thankfully we could use the one at the drive thru which I said "which hopefully wont break" and immediately the recipt machine at the drive thru malfunctioned. Earlier on when i first started work there we were almost closed and we had shut down the register at the Drive thru cheekily said "wouldnt it suck If someone pulled up to the window" and low and behold a truck pulled up. As well as another time where I had to cover a coworkers shift until they could arrive to work. I said around 4:50 "hopefully they will get here before 5" and upon saying that they walked through the door. If you say "I hope we dont have a rush" there will be a rush. If you say anything along the lines of "I hope (x) doesnt happen" IT WILL FUCKING HAPPEN. It's gotten to the point where it seems like more than just coincidence. An even weirder part is that I'm the only one who can provoke things to happen and my coworkers have said it only started once i came. What the fuck is going on. Am i just paranoid about all this? Or is it some paranormal shit.?
