Hello, fellow chaotes--
How do you personally perform under Leo? What specific types of spells do you cast during this time? How do you utilize your mana most effectively?
I am kind of on a roll, and I know that Leo is a fixed sign of perseverance, so I'm thinking of creating a sigil which represents, to me at least, the status quo, and the perpetuation of that status... perhaps a giant gate of sorts, keeping the change out.

I'm going to assume you are an atheist because there is no proof God exists.
There is no scientific evidence that indicates the existence of free will either. If anything, science suggests we subconsciously make decisions before we become aware of them. In the absence of evidence of free will, the logical standpoint is to assume it doesn't exist until proven wrong.
So why do you believe in free will?

Because every human action is evidence of free will. You can't explain it away by saying that there was some physical explanation all along, you have to argue how and why the hypothesis you tested shows, suggests, or implies that the free will we experience and observe isn't actually free in some empirical, measured, sense.

Hey all, let's discuss the flat earth hypothesis.
Rules: try to avoid ad hominem arguments
The burden of proof is on the person making the hypothesis, and NASA doesn't even deal with the flat earth theory anymore because they're sick of you claiming the data is faked, so here's some questions for you:
There are 2,271 satellites documented as having been launched. I've gone and seen these launches myself. It is incredibly expensive to launch these rockets so, where are they going? They're faking the terabytes of data that satellites send back to convince you the earth is flat?
How does your GPS work?
Why do pendulums spin around in a circle if you let them swing long enough? (Hint: cause the earth is spinning and round)
Why does the moon rotate as you move between the hemispheres?
Why can you actually measure that objects a mile away are 8 inches lower?
Why do shadows in some places go perfectly straight down at some points in the year but at the same times in other points are angled? (You can measure the shadows and calculate circumference of earth: check out Eratosthenes, ancient dude that calculated the circumference of the earth)
There are over 1,000,000 images taken by people from the International space station. That's a hell of a lot of photoshop, at 1 minute an image, that's two years of straight photo editing. Splitting that among man hours and having all those people keep that secret...
Have you studied the math behind planetary physics? How did they fake an entire school of math and still have it able to predict where the planets/moon/everything else will be?
The horizon for the average person is 3.1 miles away. After that you can't see more because of curvature. http://www.heywhatsthat.com/ will tell you what objects you can see beyond the horizon if they're tall enough. Bonus, you can actually go outside and verify it yourself.

But seriously, there's some cool graveyards around and some neat-o abandoned buildings in NH. Also, if the gate has been reopened, check out the bunkers at Odiorne point in Rye. They're pretty spooby. Another set of cool bunkers are across the water near the Wentworth hotel. Need to go at night and hop a fence to get into them, not hard though. I THINK it's called fort foster, but I could be wrong. Just park at Wentworth and walk down the road from there, just check Google maps and you'll see what I'm talking about.

My favorite thought experiment is thinking about how higher dimensional beings can reach into lower dimensional boxes without opening any of the sides.
Imagine you have a sheet of graph paper in front of you.
1D is just the X-axis. It's just a horizontal line. A 2D creature can get into a 1D "box" (boxes can't exist in the 1D, but bare with me) by coming from the Y-axis. It can get into the 1D box by coming from the top or bottom--something that would blow the mind of a 1D creature.
Creatures that exist in 3D, like us (I believe we have 4D minds, but that's for another thread), can get into a 2D box without opening any sides. Draw a cake on the graph paper and then draw a square around it. To a 2D inhabitant that cake is nice and safe. But we can come from the Z-axis. We can see the cake even though it's covered on all sides in its native 2D. The Z-Axis are the points coming off the paper and behind the paper. It's where we move around and stuff. We're not constrained to the paper.
Now, how would a 4D creature/monster snatch us in our bed at night without us seeing it coming? What is 4D?
My girlfriend, who works with this math stuff (I'm a trophy boyfriend dunce who struggles to keep up) says 4D is time.
To plot 4D on that piece of graph paper you'd have to make a point for every moment of time--something that is impossible for 3D graphing equipment like CAD. So 4D creatures live their whole lives at once? They can come at us from the future? I don't get it, /x/. I'm going insane.

Who is from here, lives here, has experience in this area around Six Forks Station?
I have had witnessed alot of strange things here, not the home depot/food lion area or the apartment complex but more the cancer research facility and the "retirement community" which seems like some big empty research facility or something else very strange.
This map of the area i posted has nothing labeled just to show everything. Im sitting here reliving these experiences I had, ive posted these stories before but back as they happened and with less backstory and detail. Nothing has happened as of recent as I dont live there anymore, but all of the things together just seem to lead to something bigger and more uncanny and unexplainable.

Ok so about me. Im currently 30, married with someone I love, we have a baby, i love being a dad, fucking blah blah blah. I live in Fayetteville NC now, its my home town, shit hole military town but I want my family to be in my son's life so I came back. These events took place when I was going to school in raleigh and I lived there when I was 22 until I was 26.
Im a pretty normal guy, nothing particularly phenominal has ever happened to me, I can without a doubt say that aside from a couple experiences that happened in this story, I have NEVER experienced anything paranormal or extra terrestrial.
I guess this has lead me to just not believe in anything really. ghosts, aliens, god, angels, the bible, or anything religious at all. I guess im one of those people who just believe we're bacteria on a perfect planet somewhere. could there be other bacteria like us on another perfect planet somewhere? I guess, doesnt mean they can warp drive to look at us then run away, but who am I to say? I dont really fucking know anything other than what ive been told my whole life.
I do have a general skepticism for big news sources and the american government in general but who doesnt these days?
