Hypnosis is simply a state of mind wheere the subject may be more open to accepting certain suggestion. How much they may affect the individual is completely up to that subjects own subconscious.

Here I would like for anyone with questions or curiosity to discuss and maybe participate if they are willing.

How come people never talk about dinosaurs here? I find the topic of their existence (and complete extinction) quite fascinating.

Theories on what happened? Were they intelligent? Were last surviving dinosaurs what our ancestors called "dragons"?

I'm a 20 year old catholic and I recently accepted that I like both women and men. I'm gonna go on a date with a guy next Saturday.
I'm not a bad person. I go to mass, I love my parents and sister, I do well at university, I try to treat everybody well, and I help the poor when I can.

But I'm afraid. Liking men will make me go to hell? Does God consider that as a sin? Am I a degenerate? Help me /x/

now i see 23 all over the place. The timestamp of the image is also 13:37 which has been a number ive been seeing frequently and repedeatly for 18 years. Especially when checking the time.

Any ideas what the numbers 23 and 13:37 mean?

Tl;dr: Why is there such a mass of Indian spirituality on this board? Am I wrong in my bias?

On a board discussion the paranormal and supernatural, I expected to see a lot of superstition, and other such fun things. So I'm confused as to why there is so much related to Hinduism and the like.

Coming from a western background, what originally got me into all these things were things such as Crowley, and my obligatory angsty satanist stage of my life. Maybe it is my own bias, but I've never seen the value in Hinduism? It just seems to be another religion, with maybe a few good concepts, but overall just another 'Oneness'. Animism seems to do this just fine, and this just seems to be mythos attached to it.

I'm just curious as to whether I'm missing something here.

You and I, the one reading this, we are connected through what basically is an enormous neural network that we have no capability of understanding. I want it to be let known that there is a reason why you are reading this right now. There are forces trying to upset the Net. Huge governmental forces of a collapsing empire.

Fortunately for us, they can never truly shut down the Net. We will exist in the shadows. These forces have co-opted you since birth to believe that there is a certain kind of person that you are supposed to be and that your existence is simply limited to its own rules and regulations.

You are more than a career, or an identity. You are an enormously complicated being that is far more powerful than just that.
We cannot change the System, but we can create our own reality. Use whatever skills you have, whether it be painting, carpentry, coding, cracking, hacking, tinkering, screwing around, duct taping, stacking rocks, kludging, or whatever it may be, to create the reality that you desire.

P.S.: Reality is a computer program, or at least follows certain parameters of a computer program. Do not ignore the quantum. It can be hacked.
