A friend and I went to this place around 7 PM to watch the sunset. We set up directly across from a cemetery, by the shore of the lake.
We were there for roughly two hours before the incident occurred.
At first my friend went to light a cigarette and found the flame going sideways, there was no wind so we both thought this was bizarre.
She went to light it again and it did the same thing, completely sideways away from the cemetery no matter which way she turned it.
We took a video of this but didn't think much of it.
Immediately after ending the recording a man walked up and asked if he could hit her pipe.
No one had driven in and we hadn't seen or heard ANYONE since arriving there.
She let him, for whatever reason.
When I turned around to look at the man I COULD NOT grasp what his face looked like.
For some reason it seemed blank, not the expression, but his face itself. I genuinely have no recollection of what he looked like and neither does she.
He proceeded to tell her he had been there for 3 days. He had been left there and had no idea when he would be picked up.
That's when it got really strange.
He was clean shaven, dressed well but barefoot with a silicone key holder around each ankle. His feet were clean, not like someone who had been in the woods for 3 days.
I called a friend and staged a phone call to give us an out. He continued to talk to her, in this unsettling calm manner, until I got her into the car.
He had mentioned that he liked her car and as we were driving into the bend to turn around there was an white PT cruiser identical to hers parked in the blindspot.
The only entrance is by the cemetery, we did not see anyone drive into it in our 2 hours of being there.

At first we just thought he was a random meth head but it started to get stranger.
In the video of the sideways lighter flame you can see him standing there, watching us. As soon as the camera hits him he starts walking towards us from the general direction of the cemetery.
In all the stills from the videos (shot on an iPhone 7) everything is clear, fairly detailed.
Except his face.
When a friend went on photoshop to try and sharpen the images, the clearest frame with the guy's face he got was the attached.
It's not really a face.
Even when he was looking directly at the camera, even edited for detail, this is all that is visible.
She said he also mentioned the number 3 repeatedly and she was weirded out.
Please help me understand what the fuck happened to me because I'm very unsettled.

Chimeras in mythology were a specific hybrid animal made up of a lion, goat, and serpent. Sometimes it is depicted with wings or a dragon head as well, though I feel this is a later addition. Also, chimera can be generalized into any mythological creature composed of two different species, though I usually don't as this can lead to confusion (i.e. Pegasus is a chimera as in two animals fused, but not an "actual" chimera).

We have used chimeras since ancient times as well. Ever since the first branch of one tree was grafted onto a tree of a different type. This likely happened around 600-500 BCE, though there is shaky evidence of it developing earlier.

Just last week I almost ran over some tourists running on the road at RMNP. Then I almost hit the mama moose they were running from. The woods isnt grandma's, bros.

I think it's because most people have zero survival sense. They treat a national park like they're driving down Main Street. Even when doing something like Mountain Biking, I will bring something to filter water, a flashlight, compass, among other things just in case.

I'm becoming a park ranger soon and I'll leak any info I get because I hold absolutely no loyalty to liars.
