I've been wondering this for a long time. Is it possible that non-self characters in lucid dreams know more about themselves than you might? If I were to conjure up a friend I know very well in my LD and ask them to tell me something I don't know about them or their real-life counterpart, would I be able to note what they say and then bring it up with my friend in real-life and then they'd confirm it? Has anyone tried this?

Because I know that ultimately, these dream characters are just that: dreams. They're only projections of our subconscious. But I've read articles on people asking dream characters to give them a word they have no idea exists, and they manage to do it. One person said a dream character told him about a word, "orlog" which is the roughly translated Dutch word for "quarrel" or "war."

I'm new to lucid dreaming, so this could be impossible and your real person-based characters will only know as much about their real selves as you know, but I'm just wondering. Also, pic unrelated.

So, last night I went to a hockey game and I was drinking a lot. The last memory I have is bolting out to cross the street - without looking, and waking up on a train ride home 1 hour later. (random black out.). My friend, who was with me, said I was lucky I didn't get hit because it was a busy street. I later got a text from my cousin asking if I was okay. That same night, she had a nightmare that she read a facebook post from my mother stating that I was in a car accident and had passed. I haven't heard from her in years so she didn't know how reckless I've become, and had no reason to worry.

I'm really hungover, but I have a weird feeling that I actually died and this is a different timeline or some crazy shit. I searched online to see if anyone has thought or drawn the same conclusion, but there's nothing. Am I just anxious from a night of drinking or has anyone had a similar experience where they came to a similar conclusion? ..or should I get on some meds? xD

I'm not trying to troll here or push some agenda or belief.
I do not personally believe in the so called "Flat Earth" theory.

Just from a neutral point of view, why is it that people who are generally very open minded to fringe subjects such as ghosts, ayys, chemtrails, demons etc. are so vehemently opposed to this idea?
Why do people who claim to hate the suppression of ideas and debate, no matter how controversial, actually become the oppressors themselves as soon as this subject is so much as hinted at?

I have strange powers that I assume are magical and I have had them since birth. I know very little outside of how to use them and what they do, even still I don't understand the limits. I am hoping that people here will be able to help me better understand everything and maybe make my powers useful. I will happily answer any reasonable questions
