Nietzsche was obsessed with this painting, Wanderer above the sea of fog.
The painting is peculiar because of its lighting. The sun must be somewhere in the upper left corner, and then we must see the Wanderer's shadow point towards lower right. But there is no shadow there. The only way to explain it would be that we stand somewhere below the Wanderer who must be standing on the very peak of a mountain. But that's impossible, because then we would not get this good of a view at the fog rolling below. So the viewer must be literally hanging in the air somewhere behind the lonely figure.

Hello /x/, I would like to share with you all a, paranormal story that had quite a pivotal role in my life.
Maybe about 5 or 6 years ago I sat in my room on my bed, just like any day I'm relaxing like normal, and I heard a, faint whisper of a young girl in my ear, she said: "get me out of here". This of course frightened me. That same night passed midnight, I still had the thought of what had happened earlier in the back of my mind, coupled with my insomnia I couldn't sleep, but outside my bedroom door is a perpendicular hallway and I heard light footsteps pattering around the floor accompanied by the laughter of a little girl. So fast forward a few days, now I'm sitting on the couch in my living room and I closes my eyes for a minute. You know how when you close your eyes and you can see something without actually "seeing" it? Well what I saw was this extremely vivid vision of a little girl. She had extremely pale white skin, long and straight black hair, she was really short too, probably only 4'11", and she wore a red dress that had a floral pattern embroidered into it. She was also holding something too but I can't remember what it was, if I were good at drawing I'd attempt to draw her and post it with this thread. Now, for the next few months I would see this same exact girl in my dreams almost every night. I'd feel this energy around me that I can't explain how it feels, you just need to see for yourself, and I knew that" energy " was her. I'd also experience the phenomena of objects disappearing and reappearing in a different place. This went on for several months until it all stopped completely, no more laughing, taunting, visions, dreams, objects moving, or that feeling of energy. She just completely exited my life as mysteriously as she entered it. I have tried using an Ouija board to contact her but it yielded no results.

Poltergeists are also described as "playful ghosts" and to me it does seem like she was sort of "playing" with me. But on the other hand poltergeists were once living humans and I don't recall a little girl dying in my house. An old women did but not a young girl. It also seemed she needed my help, but I never found out what it was ahead needed help with.
