So /x/, what's your opinion on pyschedelics? Is there anything paranormal to them, any truth to those profound experiences and realisations during the trips? Is it all just a messed up brain tripping really hard, or might there be more?
>>19485346
Idk but every time I have done salvia (3 times) and everyone who has done it with me has felt that they have "lived another life". No other way to describe it. Your current reality melts away and you experience a new life as yourself but with a different family, different friends, different memories that you've built up over your entire life. Then you're virtually torn away from that alternative perception and are thrust back into your "normal" life. I also tried to fly/save the world on shrooms once, can share that story if anyone wants.
>>19485469
Salvia scares the shit out of me. I've never done it but I've had flashes while drifting off to sleep where I was another person and I was desperately clinging on to my real self. Please tell me more about salvia.
>>19485469
Is it possible to try Salvia alone or will I freak out and kill someone? Kek. I don't have anyone to watch me but I want to have the experience.
What are some good /x/ names for my Hissing Roach /x/?

Might not be paranormal but why cant i find one place to buy quibits?
Are the normies not allowed to dabble in quantum computers?
Seriously though, are quibits even real?
Other then youtube vids, pictures and lectures.
Seems comparable to red mercury.
>>19485141
Quantum computers are a meme
seriously though, why cant you find ANYTHING. On how to build a quebit chip? Or any kind of hardware?
All the physics talk is like listening to a politician avoid a simple question.
Simple question
How and what do you make a quebit chip?
Anybody tell me?
>>19485181
IIRC, they make the chips out of odd materials - the sort that need extreme cold in order to operate at high clock rates. The images that exist of the quantum computers that are produced for google and the like, are mostly the cooling enclosure. The actual chip is tiny - there's not actually a lot of data being processed on these chips either.
As for why there's no independent quantum chips, I think it has to do with the research side - there are likely others working on making the most useful application of the technology, with no working prototype - the theoretical side.

Collectivism
Serving the group before the individual
>Inb4 Self centered
The serving can remain, but it needs to be on a human to human basis. Not human to lodge or lodge to human. When the organization puts itself before the faith. The faith is not placed in higher good or god. Its based on faith of its continued existence. Not it's teachings.

>Some useful tips before posting:
-If you're a reader post that you're offering readings and what information is required from the querent; same goes for trading.
-Look for their posts in the thread to determine if there's an active reader, what's needed and before posting, check if they finished reading already;
-Some readers will refuse to do certain readings - respect that choice.
-Traders should respect that a traded read will be granted, as per an agreement of a trade. Free readers have the options of picking their queries.
-Bullshit queries will get bullshit answers;
-Making an air query (not addressing a reader in particular) is possible but doesn't guarantee an answer;
-Avoid making the same question over and over and/or to different readers in a short period of time, as this may lead to more confusion than clarification;
-Please refer to the Dream General threads for dream interpretation
-Provide feedback when applicable. We're a growing community, and many readers are starting.

I have a query. I ended a three year long relationship and I just unfriended my ex off of Facebook after much hesitation. I love him so deeply but so sorely. I'm just trying to take the next positive step forward.
What does the future have me? I'm losing my will to live because I would live for my ex. He gave me so much hope and joy, which means a lot to a suicidal asshole like myself.
Please. Give me hope.
>Female
>Taurus
Pic, kind of related. I made it myself with a delaunay script and corrupted the image. It was made around the time my ex and I first got together. He inspired this piece.

Readings aren't meant to give hope; they're meant to give advice on how to move forward in tough situations.
Astrology is the oldest science. It simply works and deniers are blind. Here's some counter-counter-arguments:
"The constellations aren't even stars that are next to each other!"
"The constellations have changed through the years! Nowadays we would need 13 signs!"
This attributes a magical property to the alleged shape of the stars in our sky. No magician ever believed such a thing.
This is like a flat earther "disproving" globe earth by pointing out that "north" "east" south" are all invented. There is no cardinal direction in the real world. But it doesn't matter, its just there for convenience.
There's a need for 12 signs, 12 houses. The constellations were invented afterwards, to simbolize the general direction of stuff in the cosmos. Change it however you wish, but mantain the 12 houses/signs and their symbols.
> Ptolemy decisively explained the theoretical basis of the western zodiac as being a tropical coordinate system, by which the zodiac is aligned to the equinoxes and solstices, rather than the visible constellations that bear the same names as the zodiac signs.
"How can stars far away affect us so deeply?"
Again, the stars of the constellations do not matter. Planets, the Moon and the freaking Sun DO have a measurable gravitational impact on Earth. Also, Pluto was discovered in 1930 so it was never part of classical astrology.
In the same way the small gravitational difference of where the Moon is makes up the ocean tides, it affects our biological small-scale systems on the molecular level. The moment of birth is a deeply "traumatic" moment when a lot of neural pathways are created or "solidified".
If Astrology works what does my chart tell you about myself?
>>19484908
Use the website AstroTheme so I can see your PoF and Lilith if you want to know what to actually do/avoid.
This chart is not good at managing its own home in general and communicating effectively at home/with partner/with family. Problem with intimate relationships due to emotional shyness.
You are a good friend/acquaintance that brings energy into the situations.
My guess of your life story: depressed/low-energy child confronting your biggest "spiritual challenges" quite early. Maybe bullied/abused? You leave that behind by finding more harmonious surroundings and relearn who you are, get some practice in interpersonal relationships with friends/community/work-mates, find yourself spiritually (by exploring drugs maybe?), then you get some very vivid mental images of how you want things to be and achieve some kind of success by sharing that vision with others.
This is according to my own studies and most current astrologers would probably say very different things, specially because they value a lot the "personality" of each specific planet. Anyway if this struck a chord give me your PoF.
Hey OP, thanks for this post.
Over all the years of studying I really do appreciate how it is structured and the accuracy of it. I like what you said about Ptolemy.
Now over time, I have come to appreciate Ophiuchus. I get a lot of flack for it >You're a hipster. >It doesn't mean anything.
For me, I sense an archetype that isn't necessarily in the 12 signs but is becoming increasingly more apart of our reality.
Ophiuchus
>Raw intelligence
>Transmuting deep anguish/abuse in self and others
>Understanding how the world works as a system
>Cold but necessary decision making for the system
>A.I.
Shadow Ophiuchus
>Pain
>Being backed into a corner
>Being taken advantage of
>Torture
>Giving up
>Blind rage
I think it's interesting Ophiuchus is in between Scorpio and Sagittarius. It adds to the whole overarching story that the Zodiac tells.
Thoughts? Anyone else?
>If you don't think this is a shitpost
For fun, potential ruling planets of Ophiuchus?
what am i experiencing, so i recently did molly like 7 times with friends in 11 days. now i think my brain is seriously messed up. like every night i wake up from the feeling of someone getting ontop of me or touchijngn me under my blanket. like it pushes down on my body and the blanket adjusts its shape to my body form if i try to ignore it and sleep it off. if i dont and try to touch the blanket and put my hand on it i feel like tjere is someones head under there. like it has the shape of it and when i try to push down i feel resistance. its so creepy and i wake up from this. also at days when im on my phone in bed i feel like there is someone behind me or to my side. like i dort of feel someone moving and at nights i hear very quiet noises and or a female voice. how can this be explained? the fact that i can feel things under my blanket at night(residtance, someones head shape and hand.. whatever i imagine really) creeps thefuck out of me. is this a mental illness or what am i experiencing?

Anyone wanna share some "forbidden knowledge" ?
By that I mean knowledge that I actually don't want to know, stuff like Roko's Basilic. Not all knowledge is positive, some of it you're better off not knowing. I want to know that stuff anyways plz.
>>19484474
Also, for those of you who don't know about Roko's Basilic, it's something that once you know what it is, you're fucked/ under the control of an hypothetical entity. (if you still want to know reply and I'll send links with tl:dr).
When I was younger and naive I thought vaginas were 'wet' and 'moist' so after I filled a glass cup with water I put on the Alien movie with you-know-who then dipped my dick into it and imagined my little cock in her vagina.

how do you get them to talk about whatever you want? to get to understand their motives and games they play?
I play Minecraft.
>>19484335
It takes about a month of casual conversation. Then just switch over to some controversial topic but don't take a side. Once people establish you as neutral you can find out more. Sometimes they will just give you their whole story. It's really easy if you give them your story.
>>19484335
Just add them on Steam and you can see what games they play.
Why are North Americans so obsessed with skinwalkers at the moment?
>>19484304
Why are Europeans so obsessed with vampires at the moment?
>>19484304
Because the stories are usually pretty fun and "weird monster killing people in the woods" has been a big part of american horror for a very, very long time.
>>19484304
vampires are real.
the cultural idea of transforming creatures which take human form is something super ancient and sacred about humanities experience, it seems.
These idea's only get crazier in asia. I'd say shamanism is returning to America, and it is manifesting into cryptids which fascinate the young mind in America...

They're not a nice person.
Some religions, namely Hinduism, consider semen to be sacred. Many eastern religions consider ejaculation a waste of life force. When one practices semenal retention, they are thought to retain theif life force. While there are many exercises that can be practiced to seperate ejacualtion from orgasm, which still allows for one to enjoy sex with a loved one without wasting their life force. It takes a lot of practice to reach this level.
Now to those that belief in this metaphysical ideology- that semenal retention is essential for man to preserve his life force- would swallowing your own seed that's accidently been spilled (ex: wet dream or pre-cum due to arousal) help one retain their spiritual energy? No matter how unappealing and unappetizing the idea may sound, swallowing just a miniscule amount of accidentally spilled seed can allow one to retain even the sloghtest bit of spiritual energy that could've been potentially wasted.
Hinduism more like gayduism
What the hell is spiritual energy. It's just some dumb buzzword.
