Where do you think consciousness comes from? If you say the mind is a byproduct of matter, that consciousness arises as an epiphenomenon (outgrowth) of material causes, then at what physical level does consciousness have its beginnings? The neurons, the chemicals, the molecules, the atoms?

If you say any of those, then did you know that the brain is a quantum computer, and that the behavior of neurons originates at the atomic and subatomic level? If they say of course, then I would say, did you know that the quantum behaviors of electrons and other subatomic particles have been proven in quantum physics to have no discernible physical causes? That therefore no amount of math or measurement can predict what exactly a subatomic particle will do next? So if consciousness arises from quantum behaviors, then consciousness does not have a physical cause. That is what quantum physicists have determined.

So anyone saying that consciousness is an epiphenomenon of material causes is wrong. It arises from nonphysical factors that you don’t know about. And it leads to something that is intelligent, self-aware, creative, and has freewill. If I said that consciousness preceded matter, and that the quantum fluctuations seen in matter which generate all the subsequent physical phenomena are ultimately caused by consciousness, then the brain is not only a quantum computer but a receiving device for a nonphysical consciousness.

Yea I believe they can cause nightmares. Woke to black fog with arms choking me. Around the same time I was having looping nightmare dreams and some dreams with shitty images. Was having bad dreams and saw a black spider on my arm that disappeared when i woke and saw it. Was having the most realistic nightmares one night and was in like lust land and hate land I'd wake up with my left palm feeling like it was on fire

Hell yea they can!!! I had two incidents and saw the same black mist above me. Both nightmares were terrifying and it seemed to go into my subconcious to find what i dread the most. Both times i snapped out of the dream into sleep paralysis and out of my corner of my eye i saw this black orb mist. I swore at it in my mind many times eventualy it went away. There was never a third time as the second time it happened i used my inner thoughts to push it out of the room.....never returned.

There must be a reality beyond a human being's consciousness because when one dies the others still continue, therefore you'd have to think that if we all were to die, life would obviously continue. Does that mean we are just meaningless and everything we do should just be to stimulate ourselves until we die in order to gain the only worth-while existence ?

I think that the human subconscious is collective and that our perception and experience is limited by what our brains can show us.
When we are born, we are pulled from the collective and when we die we are put back into it.
Death isn't real. The only individuality you experience is the brain separating your experience from the collective during it's life span.
