A total lunar eclipse ("the blood moon") will take place on January 31, 2018, and will be visible from some of the areas that saw the solar eclipse of August 21, 2017. It is unusual for solar and lunar eclipse events to follow each other so closely in time (5 months and 10 days) in the same regions. Does this have any paranormal significance, /x/?

Okay, so for about a year ago there have been these little silhouette humanoids around my house misplacing my shit and kinda watching me, the most I've seen at one time was about 5 or 6, but I only usually see one or two. I see them as often as once or twice a month. I have no pictures because as soon as I spot them they run away.

Another thing that's been around for about the same time is a spiny spider looking creature about as big as a mans hand, I've only seen this one twice, it seems to be friendly but shy, it too runs away when I see it but it likes to get a lot closer and watch what I'm doing rather than me.

Anything can help, they havent hurt me so i dont think they have any "malicious intent." I would just like some education as to what they are. Thanks /x/

I've heard that a werewolf's only weakness is silver bullets, but to what extent? If I point a shotgun (with regular bullets) point-blank onto a werewolf's skull and fire, would he be able to walk out of that alive? Wouldn't the impact of the bullets kill him with the pellets impacting him at 780 mph? That's faster than a car and that will usually lead to road kill at that speed. If you set him on fire, would he be able to walk out of it unharmed? If that's the case, then he is practically invincible with silver being his kryptonite.

You wake up bruised and beaten inside what appears to be a massive factory with 2 floors. The factory consists of many rooms with large confusing machinery and work spaces that are no longer in use. The place is dimly lit with flickering lights that are barely functional. As you make your way to what you believe to be the front entrance, you enter a large room and notice a reinforced front door, which is locked with a timer above it that reads 48 hours. A sudden booming voice comes from above and calls out to you, stating:
>“You have to survive within this building for two days straight, there are enough supplies around the facility to keep you well fed and hydrated, but you’re not alone in here. There are four SCP's waiting for you in different undisclosed locations around the building. Best of luck, and remember, this is for science.” The timer on the door starts counting down and you feel your chest tighten with anxiety, as you carefully march forward deeper into the facility.

Last year someone dumped a big list of free books online all about the Good People. In this collection was one book in particular that I'm looking for, the premise of which aimed to tie Fairies to UFOs (among other things). Specifically, according to the book, Fairies are UFOs who now choose to manifest as technologically advanced beings since we live in a tech-obsessed age. However, they are not quite Fairies or Aliens. They live in the Unconscious, and so they are sometimes evil, sometimes good, and sometimes ambivalent.
If anyone knows what book I'm talking about, I would much appreciate it if you could provide the title for me.

Also, general Faerie thread. I've heard some great stories on this board in the past. Please share.
