Theres an abandoned house in my town that literally everyone refuses to talk about/even acknowledge, but they won't take it down either. A lot of kids like to go in there and fuck around. Used to live almost all my life just next to the belgian city known for the famous rapist case of Marc Dutroux. It was a very spooky period to be a kid in Belgium and realize that the world is not only made of kind people. People would display pictures of the 2 girls who got killed on their front windows as a support sign for the victims' families. My school was like 5 min by foot from the house where he held captive the girls. The parents started to be overprotective with their children, as a matter of fact, I took the bus for the first time by myself around 16, and the train 18. My mom is still very protective about my brother and he is 15 now because of this.

We also lived very near a church that was famous for having a crazy exorcist preacher.

I moved a few months ago, and in my new city, there is a pub that burnt down. Apparently they found a funerary mask of the first holder in the remains. It's for sale but nobody wants it because they think it's haunted.
