I am haunted by the bad and even evil things I have done. Every day I recall the bad things I have as if I was flipping the pages in a book and reading then over and over again. For most of these things there is no way to go back and correct or make restitution, so the guilt can never go away.
I desperately need forgiveness so I can find a little bit of happiness or joy in my life, but it's like I am reliving these things everyday.
I started writing them down and thought that if I wrote down everything I could remember and then burn it that I might have peace, but on the other hand this is probably just a stupid idea. I am at the end of my rope and don't know what to do...I can't go on hating myself over the bad and sometimes evil choices I have made.

This one happened last night

>Go outside and see a girl lying on my front lawn crying in pain, saying someone shot her
>Go into my house and grab a first aid kit
>Do some WWI tier field medicine and pull the bullet out
>It's the size of an 8 ounce can
>After I bandage her up she says she should being me to her house
>After walking down the road for awhile she brings me to the biggest house I ever seen
>When inside, I see people I know, friends and family
>I also see trees that look a thousand years old but she avoids the question when I ask her about it
>She brings me to the wine cellar where we drank and ate cheese
>Then a door opens, someone shouts and I wake up
