Hello
i have an issue, i cant pick ram for my motherboard, it's a RX100 S7
this is a manual for the board
http://manuals.ts.fujitsu.com/file/10146/rx100s7-d3034-tm-en.pdf
i currently have only 4gb ram in and i want to buy pic related
motherboard specs say the memory supported is as follows:
DDR3 1066 / 1333 / 1600 unbuffered single rank (SR) or
dual rank (DR) UDIMM memory modules with ECC.
Support for up to 4 UDIMM memory modules.
Total memory size: up to 32 GB
Cant tell if the pic related is unbuffered or not. Could someone explain unbuffered/buffered/registered memory difference or just say if the pic related fits or not.
Currently the server has 2x2 memory 1rx4 (single rank) memory sticks in it, the one on the pic is 2rx4, so that should fit, but still unknown to me if its unbuffered or not.
Also another thing i noticed, the memory i am thinking on buying is 2DPC (HP SmartMemory will run 2DPC (DIMMs per Channel) with HP Gen8 v2 servers @1866 MHz with RDIMM and UDIMM, and 3DPC @1333 MHz with LRDIMM.) and my server supports UDIMM.
Also, HP memory in Fujitsu server?
Thank you!
