They'll just tell you to get the WD and post the hd failure chart. You don't need the reds though.

You kinda do, because the reds fail bad sectors quickly so as not to gum your array up, whereas the other ones could, but choose not to because you haven't paid the premium.

tl;dr: don't pay the Red tax, your array shits itself the moment one drive goes dodgy.
