Hi guys! I'm in big trouble. I just lost my Phd. Document by mistake i erased it from my usb. Does anyone know any software to recover this info?

Ouch. A google search gave me this :

You probably checked it out already... anyway.
Never had a "chance" to test any of those softwares. gl !
If you haven't tried that one yet, or didn't have any luck, then try Recuva. It's probably one of the best tools out there without having to get into any more eccentric stuff. Also, all of the file recovery tools in it are completely free.

If your file isn't able to be found with the quick scan, keep in mind that there's a deeper scan available that takes a lot longer, but will find pretty much anything unless it's completely unrecoverable. Good luck!

Thanks! I'll try this one too.

I would definitely recommend Recuva over almost anything else. It's by and large regarded as the standard for general purpose use, and has never failed me. I'd really recommend trying it before anything else, even if it's just for the sake of keeping from having to install multiple programs for the same task.

Ok, then i'll try this one first. I'm looking for a friend that has windows. I'll let you know how it goes, thanks again.

>I'm looking for a friend that has windows
Wait, that implies that the stick you're trying to recover wasn't written on Windows.
I'm gonna guess OSX.
This is probably information you should have mentioned in OP.

I don't think it would really matter unless it's some ridiculously eccentric format on the drive. They should be fine.
