hey yall is there any way to salvage a drive from a dead laptop if i know the drive itself is not damaged? Also, any tips on fixing a broken charger port (as alternative to salvaging drive)?

>take laptop apart
>find drive
>take it out
it's not exactly difficult anon
What's wrong with the charger port?
lol im not too good with that sort of thing. Anyway, the copper wire that sticks out is broken, so the charger wont connect. The laptop is fine aside from that

Meh, I'd could fix that in an hour, and it would cost me $3.
You can't solder, so you'll have to pay someone, but it's still a cheap and straightforward fix if you shop around.
Just phone up all the local dodgy computer shops, and get them to quote you for replacing a charging socket that's soldered to a laptop motherboard.
