Can someone change the background to gray and then make another copy with light gray?

Right now my steam profile picture is just some gay ass custom text of my username. So I'm going to change it to Osmond over here but the white background...I find it annoying. S.O.S

Get GIMP bruh, then use the fuzzy select tool (the wand) to select the white area. Then you click the bucket, pick a color, and bucket it in. Then File > Export.

Here's one with a transparent background, see how that looks.
